Exceptional!! I'm from the North West of England and blessed with hundreds, if not thousands of amazing authentic Indian cuisine within 20 miles of home. This place is as good as I've had..... and that's a huge statement! I arrived at 6.30pm on a Tuesday evening after a half mile walk from my hotel after not fancying anything on the hotel menu. The restaurant was very quiet which was a slight concern but was reassured on hearing the phone ringing regularly with take away orders. As it was -1 outside and with rosy cheeks from the cold, I was shown to a table and thanked for braving the elements and offered a free lift back to the hotel - great start!! The menu is comprehensive combining traditional dishes and chefs specials. I opted for the veg Pakoras starter and lamb tikka tandoori main course which came on the sizzling plate, delicious sauce and crispy garlic naan. Both dishes were full of flavour and the lamb was of the highest quality and beautifully cooked. I declined the lift back to the hotel but, at the end, felt compelled to complement the manager on a delightful meal and great service, by which time, the restaurant was half full - not bad for a Tuesday night in mid November. Without doubt, I'd happily...

Overall terrible, greeted by and shown to our table by a waiter who obviously couldn't be bothered, nothing friendly exchanged and spent more time looking out the window whilst taking the order. I thought that the idea of lunchtime menus was as a sample of the food available in the evening all be it smaller portions WRONG! The food was reheated poor quality, rice was a bowl of stuck together gloop, the chicken tikka tandoori was chopped tikka placed on a hot plate of sizzling onions and had the texture of shoe leather the sauce which we had to ask if it came with the dish and no offer of how we'd like it was again a tasteless bowl of gloop, the starter which I forgot to mention mushroom pakora was the smallest tasteless mushrooms I've seen roughly about 5 presented with a tasteless pakora sauce, even although we'd left a lot of food uneaten not once during or after the meal were we asked is the food OK or how was your meal, sorry to say but I'd not be rushing back anytime soon. The restaurant itself was nice but the staff member on entry made for a negative experience instantly and all down hill from there. It the first time ever that we've not left a tip although plenty could have been...

This is a great Indian restaurant. Whilst the exterior looks a bit tired, the interior is well appointed, with plenty of space in the bar waiting area and in the main restaurant room, so you are not over looked when eating.

We booked over the Easter Bank holidays and managed to get a table, and even to change the time a couple of hours before we were due to arrive.

The food was very nice, cooked to a a very good standard and with large portions. We were far from a standard order, but they coped very well with it and we were served very quickly on each course.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered something off menu and they were very happy to oblige.

If you want a great curry at a good value price, you really should give this restaurant a try. We will hopefully be back again when we are next...

Just back after a really good experience, the manager was really helpful & very attentive. Starter dishes The dishes, were of really high quality & the poppadoms were really good, all fresh. Starters The fish pakora was ok, the batter was quite tough, but overall tasted nice. Vegetable pakora, the wife really enjoyed it. Main meals Chicken & prawn tikka masala. the chicken & prawns were really succulent & cooked perfect, I thought the sauce was quite bland. The South Indian garlic chilli chicken The wife had this & loved it, had a little kick to it, but full of taste. Vegetable korma Was really good aswell, was really sweet & creamy. The Cheese & Garlic Naan breads were full of taste. If we were ever in dunblane again, we'd definitely dine in here again.

We had a brilliant meal for a family of four , food was very good although a bit pricey for an Indian , however the portions were generous and we couldn't finish all of it so we asked for the rest of the food to be packed for us. Upon unpacking the boxesit turned out that some mentally challenged member of staff packed the cucumber raita with the lamb curry IN THE SAME BOX and one of the other main courses (with probably over half of it left) hadn't been packed at all! Needles to say the curry mixed with raita turned into a complete , inedible mush so went straight in the bin. Well done to the staff member that did it, you should receive a "donkey of the year" award.
