An excellent Heritage Centre with static objects relating to the town and the building along with visiting exhibitions and artefacts, this is well worth visiting. It is close to the harbour and shops as well as being a short walk from the railway station.

Fabulous wee place full of local history ... the Titanic Exhibition was eye opening and very informative. There was a few things ( that were local ) on show as well. Its a nice place to spend 30 - 40 minutes in. Pictures?? No .... go see...

It's all change at the Heritage Centre. It will become more of a museum than a genealogy research centre with displays and exhibitions showcasing local interests and talents. I'm looking forward to the future of this...
