A family run business since 1902, and part of the ice cream trail of Scotland, this place is a legend to locals and offers a fantastic experience to people travelling through the area. Obviously being an Italian family cafe the ice cream is amazing, and the rest of the food is lovingly prepared and far exceeds, in quality and flavour, what you'd expect for the price. My mum would get taken to cavanis for an icecream if she behaved at church, having been there for the ice cream, I can say that I'd have behaved too!!
