Paisley Thread Mill Museum — Attraction in Scotland

Good points are that this is keeping alive one of the major contributions to Paisley's existence. Not really big enough space and lacking in substance but at least it's still alive! Only open Wednesdays during October to March and then only opened Wednesdays and Saturdays the rest of the year. Wouldn't go just to see the museum but if your in the area on the correct day, why...

We were given a very thorough tour by a lovely lady. The showcases cover more than just textile-related history and extend to broader local history. They're a interesting glimpse in those times, thanks to the ongoing commentary. There are also some lovely souvenirs to be purchased...

I had an incredible time in this museum, it’s just 29 minutes away from Glasgow using the train less than €4 (round trip). I got lots of info over there, they have amazing pieces and a tiny souvenir store with clever things and not expensive at all....
