What a great find. Quality at every level. Cannot say enough about the whole experience . Fantastic that it is at my end of town. I think you will struggle in time to get a seat in this little gem of a place. My dish was french toast with smoked bacon and maple syrup.

First visit and well impressed. I had the warm black pudding, bacon and new potato salad which was fantastic, my wife had toast and scrambled egg which she loved. We both had coffee and home made scones and jam, scones were huge. Definitely recommend

Sad to write such a negative review, given that two of the staff I have interacted with on separate occasions (a woman and a young man) have been SO amazing and totally lovely. But my last experience with the manager who treated me awfully for sitting in the cafe with a friend and only having a tea and a water has ruined all of that. Apparently this is a crime. Bearing in mind the cafe wasn’t busy in the slightest, we weren’t taking up valuable space or denying other diners who could pay more! I don’t ever expect to be on the receiving end of awful treatment but particularly not in a local establishment. If you’re looking for ways to increase business, attacking customers isn’t the way to go. Sadly, I’ll be looking to go elsewhere...

I was brought to the cafe by a friend when we were out walking , it was a warm day so we decided to get something to drink , I had an apple juice and my friend had the orange , both were bottled and we were given glasses , the juice was very tasty and both of the staff were very friendly, they said it had been quiet and when we were there we were the only people there which seemed a bit strange but we were made welcome and I would return although the bill for both...
