What a lovely place, so much colour. Visited the Quarry for a walk along the river and came across the place. It is set behind a hedged enclosure, so hidden until you walk through the gates, what a surprise! Everywhere is a wash of colour, its planted out like municipal parks used to be. There are rockeries, flower beds and all sorts of statues and features hidden throughout. There is a path that goes around a large pool which has water fountains flowing throughout. Lots of benches scattered around the whole area. Lovely to just sit and relax, hard to believe you are just outside a large town. Lots of kids seemed to be following a trail map which must be available from somewhere in the Quarry, but not sure where from. Well worth a visit if your in the area.

It is a great place to visit and there are some amazing views of the Dingle to see. It is open to the public with the same times as the Quarry Park as well. It is a Friendly place to bring children of young age and there are some amazing flowers to see as well. It is also open to the public when the Shrewsbury Flower Show is on the secord weekend of August on Friday and Saturday and bear in mind that it is open to public when you buy a Shrewsbury Flower Show ticket for either Friday or Saturday each year. So the only time you will not be able to enter the Quarry Park for free is on the secord weekend of August because the Shrewsbury Flower Show is on the Friday and Saturday.

What a lovely little oasis this is,it sits in the Quarry riverside park in Shrewsbury...On our visit there was still plenty of colourful Rhododendrons in flower with amazing colours as you will see in my photos...Some parts of the gardens were still to be planted but sill looked lovely,it’s such a picturesque and peaceful garden not very big but still plenty to see...There is also a memorial in the garden to a police officer which was sadly shot in a domestic incident in the town God rest his soul... Overall it's a lovely place to visit if in the area,we were there for a long weekend break, what a beautiful park this is...👍

Such a great little place. The Dingle is placed inside the bigger park and has very beautiful and well kept plants. Entrance is free of charge and there is car park outside the entrance for the big park . Unfortunately the council closed most of the paths with fences. It would have been possible to leave the walking areas open with a one way system in place. Instead of trying this, somebody decided is best to just close the whole area off ,leaving just the alley around the pond for walking. The plants are great, nice variety, some of them fragrant. Such a shame we couldn't get closer. Maybe next time.

The Dingle Garden is such a wonderful place to visit. The serenity of this place is mesmerizing. You can literally just sit down as and stare for a long time and dive deep down into your memory lane. With a 8 years old boy and another 5 years old boy and a toddler, it was little bit hectic for us! The daffodils already withered and the tulips were on their way.. So, if you can visit towards the end of April it would be great to see.

This is a real hidden gem. Beautiful fond gardens set in a small quarry. It’s in the middle of a park, behind a wall. There are more bedding plants that I’ve ever seen in one place at once and the smell is gorgeous. There is a small lake with lots of beautifully placed tree specimens. Doesn’t take long to walk around but it is a very popular place to sit and there are loads of benches.
