Aireville Park — Attraction in Skipton

Visited with family recently and loved this park! Full of wide open grass areas and a large playground with a wide variety of equipment including swings, you child will have a great time.

There is a decent amount of pay and display parking nearby and with the skate park next to the playground I recommend taking a scooter or bike if your child wants to have a go.

As a bonus the park leads straight into the centre of Skipton so you can easily nip into town...

This is a fabulous park at Skipton. A massive playground for all ages. Green space to walk the dog while the children are entertained. Car park on site which has reasonable prices and plenty of space. There's also a swimming pool opposite the park which I think is bookable with a lovely cafe next door with indoor and outdoor seating and dog friendly. As per the norm dogs are not allowed in the play area but the park is so big there's plenty of exercise...

Yes, it's green and peaceful, and it's nice to be able to get outside, but it's really disappointing for wheelchair users. There is a long path running through, where a loop would be really nice to go for a proper stroll with family, rather than going up the path and back again: if it weren't for the dry weather we've had recently, all wheelchair users would have was one path for the whole park, which seems unnecessarily little, given the size...
