Avoid Tracy the manager in the arcade section at all costs, disgusting attitude, temper and obnoxiously rude bully.
Tickets from another arcade (approx 400) earned last year were used in error by 4 year old child after his mother was told by another member of staff that the yellow tickets were fine to use.
Her attitude was vile, she was aggressive and unhelpful. Took the receipt away and scrumpled it up while saying its not her problem. Another customer in the venue mentioned why not give the lad the receipt to take to the correct arcade and was fobbed off. He was left crying that his tickets were lost and Tracy just stormed off to the kiosk receipt in hand.
I got a call from his distressed mother and phoned up to find out what had occurred and to see what had went wrong. Immediately was greeted by Tracy who was very rude from the off, and while I tried to discuss things in a civil manner she got very heated and was very aggressive. Not only to me but the member of staff that had told my partner the tickets were okay to use. I spoke to him as well and he was very reasonable about it, can fully understand it's not viable to redeem the wrong tickets and understand where his confusion came from. Asked him if there was any way to retrieve the tickets, though I assumed they would be shredded by the machine, and he passed me back to Tracy. I heard her shouting in the background "What do they bloody want now?" and when I asked her if there was any chance they could be retrieved she told me no before saying okay bye and hanging up the phone.
Taken aback by this I called back to speak to someone else to complain about Tracy, ended getting through to Nicola in the bar section who was really helpful and sympathetic to the issue and that my stepson was devastated by what had happened. She advised me to call back this morning which I did, and after speaking to her again she passed on my name and number as well as the nature of the issue.
Spoke to Kenneth this morning and nothing much further has come of this, apart from talking over me at every opportunity apparently Tracy apologised at the time? This is not what I had been informed and she was far from apologetic on the phone so simply can not believe that statement. I can understand defending your staff but not when their temperament and bullying nature does not lend well to a customer facing role.

We had lane problems which is fair enough, we were moved with no problems, the food was poor but again, that wasn't a huge issue. The problem came when I told a member of staff about someone smoking weed in the baby change. It was at this point that the group two lanes down started having issues with their bowling balls not returning. The girl said she would deal with it but it was at least half an hour later when I had to return again and ask her if she was going to deal with it. The guy who was smoking had left at this point. The girl got really snotty with me and said she'd been busy to which I pointed out that there were more staff members than her and that we were paying customers too so that I'd approach a Manager about it, so she said 'fine' and walked off. I then saw her go in the baby change about ten minutes later, sweep the floor and spray some air freshener. I then asked a young lad who the Manager on duty was where I was directed to an older guy with glasses in the bar. We were leaving at this point. I asked if the staff member had pointed out that someone was smoking drugs in the toilet to which he just casually shrugged it off and said "Yeah but there's nowt we can do if we don't catch them." I was quite shocked but then mentioned about his staff member's attitude. Granted he did say that he would have a word with her but he was so dismissive and had an 'I don't care attitude' that I asked if he would actually speak to her and how would I know (thinking he would say he would give me a call). I've worked in management and honestly, I don't believe this guy should be in this job role. There was no apologies from anyone, he was very rude and aggressive to me which meant in turn I said 'whatever' and walked out. He had a table full of customers and shouted after me, 'Well you're a ray of sunshine aren't you?" Absolutely disgusting. All he had to say was, I'm so sorry, I'll deal with the issues you've raised and I can give you a call to give you the outcome. It was very much 'he says, she says' implying that he didn't believe anything I was saying which just got my back up immediately. Read moreWhat an uncomfortable experience. Visted the dunes amusements this week alongside my child and partner. Everything was fine at first , playing a few machines till we needed to withdraw money , tried to do so and had a staff member questioning why we were taking out money . Maybe because we are paying customers in your amusements?. Explained it was for the machines and he refused to believe it, apparently they have alot of buisness people coming in emptying the cash machines . Dont think our £30 is going to empty your machine but alright. Told us he hasnt seen us here , even tho we had been using the machines prior to this incident and he walked by us using the machines. The bloke was very patronising and rude and just was an awful experience, everything we told him he made us out as liars. This made us uncomfortable at first to even want to spend anymore money at your amusements. But decided to go on another machine, To then have your staff member sit and stare at us the whole time making us feel uncomfortable. We left after this , ruined our night completely.
