Reddish Vale Country Park Visitors Centre — Attraction in Stockport

Centre closed for the moment but there is a wonderful pop-up cafe there with wonderful Worker Bee coffee and delicious raspberry and white chocolate brownies. Perfect for sitting on a bench while you watch the heron, cormorants, geese and a variety of ducks on the two ponds.

Update: Centre now reopened BUT pop up coffee has now gone. This removes one of my motivations for going. The centre volunteers offer instant coffee that is much cheaper but for me it's not the same. I believe the pop ups paid a portion of their takings to the centre- perhaps this deal...

was great couple hrs with grandkids feeding ducks till couple of women with dogs NOT ON LEADS came past and tho it was funny when the dogs ploughed threw and dived in water which then made the birds scatter feathers dust and dirt flying everywhere my eyes still full of muck i think the signs saying keep dogs on lead needs making bigger obv some people carn.t read rant over but plz...

Great little information center and great mini exhibit /history of the park.The food and drinks/hot and cold/and snack /ice cream were cheep and you can even get some food to feed the birds on the lake.
