Tiger Chilly — Restaurant in Stockport

Just ordered for the first time and it was the tastiest curry I'd had in a long time. As a veggie, so many takeaways are disappointing but I'm pleasantly surprised for a change. The veg dupiaza was made with decent veg instead of cheap casserole mix, and the mushroom pilau rice was made with REAL mushrooms. Every other takeaway I've had, they use cheap frozen mushrooms which are awful. Finally, I've found a takeaway that uses fresh veg. Love it, will be ordering from here on a regular...

Food bathed in oil. If they change their cooking practices, this could be tasty food (the tikka masala my friend ordered had a great spice balance), but until then, their cooking verges on a health risk

Edit: I was ill after eating the Chana Dal and a bit of the TC Special once I’d tried to mop up the oil slick and have found that they have only received a 2 (out of 5) hygiene rating. Downgrading my review to 1 star...

Great food but always have an issue with it being late and if you ring to ask where it is you get told its on the way despite being over an hour and a half late anyway!

Edit- food arrived 2 and a half hours late and tried to blame traffic on oldham Road when there restraunt is in reddish.! Traffic doesn't make you 2 hours late for less than a mile journey. Won't be ordering...
