My Experience at Roker Park 🏞️
I had a wonderful time at Roker Park, a serene and peaceful oasis that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This beautiful park is not only a haven for nature lovers but also a dog-friendly spot, making it an ideal destination for families and pet owners alike.
One of the highlights of my visit was observing the diverse range of people who frequent the park. From families with children to couples and solo visitors, Roker Park is a melting pot of individuals from all walks of life. The park's welcoming atmosphere and stunning scenery make it an excellent spot for socializing, relaxation, and recreation.
I found Roker Park to be a truly relaxing place, where one can unwind and recharge in harmony with nature. The park's tranquil environment, combined with its picturesque views, makes it an ideal setting for:
Strolling and walking Picnicking and barbecuing Dog walking and playtime People-watching and socializing Relaxation and stress relief

Read moreThis is a lovely park which is a short distance outside of the city of Sunderland. There are several attractions here, including a miniature railway, 2 age appropriate play parks, a bowling green and a big lake. There are public toilets available but these are a little dank. You are better off heading to beach area for better facilities. The park has meandering paths through lovely wooded areas providing access to the ‘quiet zone’ – a place to find a bit of zen Walking through the park also provides easy access to the beach at Roker with pubs and cafes along the sea front. The beach is a bit of a hidden gem, and is often rather quiet. The walk through the park to the beach will take you passed the bandstand where there is often plays and such put on. You will also pass the ‘Wild Meadow’ – an area set aside for nature including a pond full of lilly pads. The main lake has ducks and swans living there, and you can buy feed to give to them. There is lots to do and explore here. The park is well worth a visit and caters for people of all...

Perhaps a transport work around is needed not only to help the cost on families but also to bring down congestion and parking over properties in the future. For a widely publicised free event looking at supporting families during this cost of living the prices within need to reflect this also whilst I do appreciate they also have to make a living and are likely independent I heard a lot of families with upset children with parents saying no to things like food or the rides more than what we're going on or going to order. Some incentive maybe worth...
