Sunken Gardens — Attraction in Thanet

One of the most unique places I've ever been to or heard of, needs a collective effort at times to keep it tidy rather than just blame the Sunken Garden Society for not looking after it. For the people who review the Sunken Gardens and complain about the litter - perhaps understand this has been completely transformed from being a total wasteland to a beautiful garden by a group of volunteers and we can all do our bit to keep it this way. Garden near the drain Westgate Kent. Sadly they are disappointing, could be beautiful but not kept in nice condition at all. I guess if it's relying on a working group with little funding it's difficult. This place is like a secret gem, efforts being made with the plants. Probably local people doing it now as the council don't bother. A very restful and sacred atmosphere. I'm happy dogs are allowed as I have 3 I just hope people are good at picking up after the dogs as this is a super special place for children.
