Beautiful waterfall and river with a small garden, a pond and an old stone building.

There are a few picnic tables and an information board with the history of Menacuddle Well and garden.

It does not take long to look around, but on a quiet day it is nice to sit and enjoy the sound of the river.

The access road is very narrow and can only be entered when travelling from St. Austell direction due to the very sharp angle of the junction.

There is a very small free car park with enough space for about 3 cars and a small space for turning. However I would strongly advise that you park in the Priory Car Park in St. Austell (next to the Methodist Church) and walk to Menacuddle. There is a path alongside the road all the way from the town to the access...

Found this lovely place,by chance,on Google maps(I do this a lot when looking for somewhere to go!)Even though the weather is on the turn, this little place was stunning, and I will return next summer! Not very busy which was great, and theres only room for about 3 cars.I love how they've restored this place, and even though it's small,I managed to stretch my visit to about an hr,with dinner.Be careful of the sharp junction into here!I drove down rd a short distance, then turned back,on...

Amazing history by the side of the road really and it's lovely to find the place attracts regular visitors. Unfortunately I couldn't help but notice rubbish both plastic and organic left in the waters of the well and around it by previous pilgrims. I realise it might've been left for spiritual purposes but maybe we could be a bit more respectful and show love for the nature and history of this...

Stunning sanctuary of peace, yes, it is a little difficult access by car and yes, it has a small parking area but the rewards are magical. We rode there on bikes, now that was difficult. Glad we did too. Worth a visit just to rest and ponder while the waterfall sounds rinse anxiety away. Sat watching Dragonflies dart around the pond for ages. And a big thanks to those that maintain the place. Excellent!
