Whilst the goods produced in this bakery are okay, the customer service is shocking.

The vibe created by the majority of the staff who serve on the counter there is one of a school canteen where the dinner ladies know that you have no choice but to eat their fare - so they can be as rude as they like. They are (not exclusively but on the whole) surly, abrupt and act is if they are doing you an enormous favour by bothering to shove your pasty insert baked goods of choice in a bag whilst taking your payment. A smile is a rare occurrence in this shop and, whatever you do, don't ask if there are any other sandwiches available other than the mediocre range on display. This will inevitably result in someone barking at you, prison camp style, that you need to go upstairs.

This bakery keeps me coming back time after time and if the town offered free parking like kingsley does in fraddon which is absolutely rammed non stop with cars i'm sure there would be a few more customers coming through the door, i'm lucky i can still walk quite a distance so park outside the town, not so easy for people less mobile, when is the council going to wake up, im talking about the priory carpark, i always order the medium or large steak pasty, and take a stroll down the once busy high street sadly today there are just empty shop windows with for rent signs in them, so sad to see, its almost like the walk of shame, still another costa drive through will make...
