Really nice place to walk with tarmac paths. I used to live in Emral Rise as a child growing up and back then it was all field's and muddy pathways. In recent years a playground has been added by Dothill Juniors and tarmac paths linking Dothil to Shawbirch and beyond to Admaston, Bratton & Wellington. The walks around the two lakes and woodlands as you follow the new pathways lead you all around the reserve without getting too muddy and is suitable for young and old a like! Plenty of wild birds, insects and fauna to look out for and there is the fifty tree trail to do too. I hope it survives for many years to come, we don't need anymore...
