Hatfield Kids FunZone — Attraction in Welwyn Hatfield

This was our first soft play party (12 years of being a parent and normally just use a bouncy castle in a hall) i dont know why I haven't done one sooner. The price is extremely reasonable compared to other places, welcoming sign with birthday childs name, its local and easy to get to, very clean, juice and water jugs with cups are refilable, plenty of space for parents and chikdren to sit and eat, staff were very welcoming and helpful when needed. There is some new additions to fun zone to what I remember (very long time ago since ive been) the hamster wheel was always a hit when I was a child this has been relocated in the fun zone, I had to show the kids how to use it which was really fun and nostalgic. First visit with my granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Loved that there was a separate gate to access the toddler section so I felt very safe with her crawling around, not worried she may accidentally be knocked over or trodden on. Kids will be kids having fun and don't always think about the little ones, so this meant i could relax more. There was a great selection of toys and padded climbing apparatus, ball pit etc to keep the children occupied and the music playing was the best Disney songs etc. Was great that you could bring your own food in so we enjoyed snacks after our visit. We went on a Friday during august school holidays. It was busy as you would expect but not uncomfortably so. I went into the soft play with my child as they are still quite young but there is a cafe for adults to sit if you don’t want to. It has a good view of the soft play and you can also walk around the edge if you want to keep an eye on your child but not go in. There is a good array of slides and other obstacles with the favourite being a slide that lands in a ball pit.
