Went along for an introduction to the world of steam traction engine restoration and was made very welcome. Within minutes of arrival was given the opportunity to bring a 12 ton steam roller from cold to full working steam pressure with friendly but very knowledgeable guidance. Absolutely amazing we was very lucky one of the engines owners showed us around personally giving us a wonderful detailed history of the place, people and engines.

I highly recommend a visit.

The place is in an industrial estate and is a working environment.

Found this by chance, it was the strawberries, cream and steam weekend. Had a brilliant ride around the town and up to the workshop, where we had a wonder around and a cream tea and a ride back in to town. The staff are friendly. Definitely...
