We've been on a world tour of playgrounds, and this is one of the best. The location hasn't quite got the drama of Nice's Jardin d'enfant on Castle Hill, but it is archetypal English with church spires peeping over the trees and honey coloured houses all around. It's not as big as the playground in KLCC park underneath the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, but it has enough space for a play area for both younger and older children, a basketball court and football pitch. There's a lot of variety here: zip lines, one of those sit in spinning seats we haven't seen since Hungary, and even an area set aside for exercise machines which are supposed to be for adults but the kids seem to also love.

Nice little park that has quite a lot of equipment. Needs a good bit of paint to upgrade the weathered swings etc.
