This is a really charming multi level museum / art gallery for those who like history, design, contemporary art, photography and sculptures. It's extremely family friendly with children's areas, educational activities and exhibits with fashion & costumes, old artefacts and various local and household items throughout time. If you're The best part is it's spacious, quiet, and FREE to enter. If you're looking for an activity to do on a budget, it's worth supporting this local gem. Each room has a different theme with large open plan spacing, even on a weekend you feel like you're in you're own little art world. There's a beautiful gift shop in the reception / entry with small items, books, children's gifts and small pieces from local artists and creators that are perfect for giving as a present for someone special or treating yourself. The cards are a highlight, with so many designs for every occasion!

This is an excellent local museum. There is an archaeological section with info on the geology of the area as well as artefacts. Fashion is the speciality of the museum, with many outfits that are hundreds of years old as well as some modern replicas made from paper. When we visited there was an exhibition of work from "invisible people" that was very moving. Taking the Japanese idea of kintsugi, when items are repaired visibly, so that the broken parts become beautiful, people reflect on their broken lives in works of art. This is a well-curated museum which good exhibitions that interact with the local community.

Very interesting, particularly the areas of local interest and archaeology. I went with my granddaughter and we both really loved the Trevor Scobie exhibition and hope to meet him on Saturday 20th July. For anybody wanting to know more about the West Sussex area and what's on, Worthing Museum is a great place to start. Just wish I'd visited years ago. It's quite eclectic and next time I would like to concentrate more on the clothes and fabrics. You can simply pop in and spend a short time or take longer, it really doesn't matter and is a great way to introduce young people to a museum.

Lots to see and covers a large range of different parts of history. Nice tidy and well presented rooms and displays. The gift shop also has nice cute gifts such as gemstones (shown in images) The small garden area is peaceful and looks stunning in the summer.
