Denton Gardens — Attraction in Worthing

These Gardens are lovely. They had been neglected by the Council who now wish to put an Adventure golf course ( dinosaurs, pirate ships) on the South where the mini golf is. They will need to put fencing up, thus making the southern part unavailable to people who have been using it, freely, for years especially in the Pandemic. A volunteer group Friends of Denton Gardens ( see their Facebook page) have been gardening, to improve it, have won money to replace the rotting Pergola and to honour its Centenary will install a commemorative stone to Alderman Denton who gifted it to the people of Worthing.
