Itasca Park District — Attraction in Addison Township

There's absolutely nothing I can say that is bad about this place. If I could I would let me tell you... I usually don't offer reviews on places like this but I can't say anything bad. The place is clean and well maintained and all the people that work here are friendly and respectful. The patrons that use this facility are as respectful as the staff. There's a large gym a weight room and walking track. There's 2 spotlessly clean locker rooms and bathrooms. You could eat off the floor in the entire facility and not have a problem with it. Anywhere you look the place has been cleaned and disinfected. The sun rises and falls around this place. There's something magical and exciting here. My son who is 9 got his 1st COVID Vaccine. Directions & location was simple. The staff & volunteers made the environment comforting, entertaining, & very child friendly. Both Itasca & Jewel were friendly, professional, clean, & quick with services. They even prepared the kids for rewards after having their shots. I was lucky enough to receive a COVID vaccination at the vaccination event held at the park district. It was an amazing setup. Everything was laid out well, distanced, and well-staffed. Things moved swiftly and efficiently. What a wonderful, collaborative effort.
