Buon Johnny — Restaurant in Addison Township

I work for AIT Worldwide Logistics, and we had a great night and wanted to award to the employees with pizza. I called Casale pizza at 08:38 pm and placed a big order of 8 large pizza. I had the order taker repeat it back. At this time, they did not mention of any issues and no problems. They reported at that time that they were only taking pizza orders and nothing else with no explanation at the time. We waiting for 2 hours and with no call or any notification they canceled our order. This was a $127.00 order and they never told us that our order was not coming. I called and the order taker proceed to tell me that the oven was broken and they called us many times but the number was BAD. This was not true. The number I provided was valid. They even told us that they sent someone to our location to inform us that our order was not going to be processed (which was not true either). We have a lot of employees and this was by far the most disappointing thing that could happen. They were complete unprofessional and I am going to assume that they canceled our order because they were too lazy to deliver or make the pizza. Service was extremely slow and the lasagna was mixowaved (lava around the edges and cold in the middle). Why is the menu in the restaurant not the same as the online menu. There aren't even pizzas on the menu inside. The server did offer us a free drink because even she knew it was taking forever. We usually order for pick up. The pasta dishes are very filling. We've been happy with the flavors of all those we've tried. With the linguini and clams, the sauce will get all over if you are not extremely careful during transport, but the taste is amazing. The vodka sauce is a family favorite too!
