I've been coming to this location for a year and in general I had good experience until yesterday when my cell phone was stolen from the locker!!! I locked it so someone had to break the lock. When I came back next day to ask if I can post a lost phone note I was told that due to company policy I cannot do that inside the building! Seriously? Not helpful at all. One thing when you don't lock the locker but when someone breaks into the lockers...ridiculous. Also when I was looking for my phone next day in the morning I found another lock in the garbage. I am not saying that this is LA employees' fault but just be aware that it happens. Watch out for you valuables!
It took me time to get used to closing hours, but this gym is useless for me during weekends (I work these days), because of business hours - 8:00-8:00 is a joke!!! You definitely should expand these hours - at least opening hours! Another thing. You can't get any proteins over there, so if you forgot to take it, you're in a... but there are vending machines (replacement area), where you can buy... guess what!!! sweets full of useless calories!!! And even an antiperspirant! But no proteins... Are you serious??? Is this what you suggest your clients to use as a pre or post workout?
There's no sauna... Seriously?
Swimming pool is placed in place where everyone from outside can stare at people. Seriously??? Can't you put any at last half transparent foil on the windows?
For good things. It's clean, pretty well equipped, especially with dumbbells, it's one of the best looking LA gyms that I saw (especially when I visited the one at Cumberland/ Katherine str, that literally looked...
Read moreLA Fitness offers a solid gym experience for people of all fitness levels. Most locations are spacious and well-equipped, featuring a wide range of cardio machines, weight training equipment, and functional fitness areas. The addition of basketball courts, swimming pools, and group fitness classes—like cycling, yoga, and Zumba—gives members plenty of variety to keep workouts engaging.
The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and personal trainers are available for those who want more structured guidance. Many locations are open long hours, making it convenient for early risers or night owls alike. Cleanliness and maintenance can vary depending on the branch, but most facilities are kept in decent condition.
Membership prices are reasonable compared to other full-service gyms, and flexible options like month-to-month plans or multi-club access are appealing. However, some users report issues with billing transparency and occasional overcrowding during peak hours.
Overall, LA Fitness provides good value for the price, especially for those who want access to multiple amenities under one roof. While it’s not the most luxurious gym chain, it delivers a dependable and versatile workout environment that meets the needs of...
Read moreI've been a member since October and have been very pleased, until I checked my bank account this month and found that they overcharged me by $260 for an additional month of personal training for my wife that we did not want. My wife told the guy at the front desk a few weeks ago that she had every intention of discontinuing the training at the end of the 6 months that we signed up for, but they have no record of him having reported that conversation so they continue to charge us. She was told she would not have to do anything else, that the charges would stop after 6 months... Wrong. And they will not refund the $260. We have no choice but to use up the remainder of our personal training sessions and then cancel the membership. It really makes no sense from a business point of view because if they would refund us the $260, they would continue to make $750 a year from our regular membership dues, for many years to come... we might even use the personal trainer for future sessions, from which they would make much more money! But no, they'll lose all that over $260 and we'll simply go over to FFC. Steer clear my friends, the company is a joke. No clue about...
