I booked this experience in advance for four people to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and later needed to add one more. I called and left a voicemail, then followed up with an email and another call, wanting to ensure they could accommodate the extra person without causing any issues. The person who answered my second call was short and unfriendly. He told me they would "ring us out" when we arrived, and I politely confirmed, saying I just wanted to make sure they knew in advance since I had paid extra for add-ons and did not want to inconvenience them. He responded dismissively with, "Like I said, we’ll ring you out when you get here."
We arrived 20 minutes early, as advised, and waited in the lobby. A group in front of us moved over to sign their waivers, and then the man loudly spoke at us, “Let’s go, I know you don’t have an appointment,” aggressively rushing me and speaking poorly to me. After I stated my name, he reluctantly admitted that I had indeed made the booking (well in advance). He rambled about someone being in the paint room and I made 2 separate bookings...didn’t seem able to explain what the issue was, though I couldn’t follow his frustrated comments. I had paid over $300 for two bookings—one at 8:45 and another at 9:30—and there should have been enough time for my group with no issues.
I also ended up realizing I paid extra for some of the kids to use the break room and didn't need any extra booking for them, but it wasn’t refundable, and honestly, I didn’t even mind. I was just trying to keep the atmosphere positive for my daughter’s birthday. However, the kids seemed nervous and confused by the situation. I had to raise my voice, and my husband had to come in before the man adjusted his unprofessional attitude and clarified the plan. It turned out the paint room booked for 8:45 was double-booked, so the kids would need to start in the break room while waiting for the paint room. This was the issue he had been trying to deflect and make it seem like I was the problem, even though I had communicated well, arrived early as instructed, and treated him kindly.
The kids did have fun, but I was left frustrated by the poor service and unprofessionalism. Not to mention the small box of things to break they provided was underwhelming & not worth the cost. Due to this experience, I will never return or recommend this place. The man was more polite for the remainder of our visit, but his behavior was unacceptable and completely...
Read moreEither I did something wrong, or this is very misleading with its advertisement on what you’re actually getting. I booked a room that was for 2 people, we were supposed to get 40 items per person to break and I paid an extra 20 bucks to break an additional 15 items each - for a total of 80 dollars. Upon arriving and informing the workers I’m there for my 7:30, the people working there seemed like they had no idea this place does reservations. Nothing was pulled up or looked at when they asked me my name and how many people, and I was just thrown into a random room it seemed like.
You’ll then go into a cramped locker room full of every other participant in the building, and you’re told to place your belongings into a locker with no lock on it. We go into the room and mind you I have to put coveralls over my clothing, a face mask and gloves on for safety, which as you can imagine its pretty hot with that many clothes on. We walk into the room and it’s swelteringly hot, with heat being directly blasted into the room. After 10 minutes we were drenched in sweat and so hot neither of us wanted to continue. Remember when I mentioned how many items I paid for? There should have been 95-100 items for us to break, which is what was advertised to me as I was paying. What I received was one tote full of dishes, everything else in the room was already smashed. So I paid 80 dollars to break about 20 cups and plates. It was a fun concept don’t get me wrong, but for what I was advertised and paid for, and what I received, I feel...
Read moreWe booked 10 kids for a birthday party. When i called to inquire I was told we were to get a separate room where we can put snacks and food etc. WHEN WE ARRIVED to the birthday party, I was told that room is no longer available due to glass being in there from the previous day. My opinion, if you’re going to run a business and you know there’s a birthday party or event the next day you need to take ownership and clean it.
The staff is extremely rude when I expressed my concern. I paid money for paint (the experience) and getting a private room. I understand things happen, but the staff didn’t take ownership or even apologize for the inconvenience. I also understand props, the gear, and paint all cost money which I’m not arguing to pay for. However, I want to be compensated for the lack of Organization of not getting that room. The kids had to eat cake on the floor in the lobby with the public coming in and out.
I should’ve been made aware of the private room being unavailable the morning of the party. I would’ve made other arrangements for the kids to go somewhere and eat. But there was NO COMMUNICATION.
I also emailed the day before and asked if we can arrive 30 minutes early to set up. And I was told yes, (I attached the photo for proof.) When I expressed my frustration on the situation, Andy wasn’t happy that we got there early to set up. The miscommunication is horrible.
Don’t book with them for large events or parties. There is zero...
