IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD First started working was promised $8.50 starting pay with a 50 cent raise after training was over. Never got paid what the GSM promised, at that point I was going to quit. I decided instead I would work but only do what I was paid to do. I notice the last day I worked there was a new manager from another store on the floor. She got very sassy with me and made me do everything in the store including bag food, front cashier and drive thru cashier while washing dishes. She seemed to try and keep me from ringing on my register by doing other tasks in the store like washing dishes and cleaning the lobby. It was 2 other crew members up front with me so I was confused on why I’m doing other jobs besides the one I was assigned to. Me being a dedicated worker I didn’t complain and I let her do what she felt was best. I noticed I couldn’t ring on my register because she ‘needed me’ else where so I stayed in drive through. When it was time for me to clock out I asked her if I could wait to clock out because I wanted my register to be counted down and I drop the money from my register myself. She than insisted I was okay to clock out and she would count it herself. Unsure of that I still left to go home on the bus and a few days later. A male manager got sassy with me and than three out a fact that my register was $80 dollars short. His intentions were to put me on spot about something I did not do regardless of his fact. I was than sent home before the minors who was working that day. The only reason he told me my register was 80 dollars short at the end of my shift because he ASSUMED I stole it. I came in today for work, made sure I came in early because I was to be meeting and talking to the GSM. My initial conversation with her was about the drastic change in my hours in the past 24 hours on the Carrols website. Secondly was to discuss the $80 dollars being stole from my register. She told me she did not see me stealing anything and that I would not be out of a job. I came in early to get breakfast French toast and to get the serious matters out of the way. She waited till I clocked in to tell me to clock out until the money resurfaced. I than told her I was going to go forward with legal actions pressing charges for lost wages, wronglfully being accused of stealing and emotional distress. My lie detector test cost $420 dollars and would like to be reimbursed for the lie detector test, lawyer fees, lost wages, and emotional distress because the situation was handled unprofessionally and put me under a lot of stress. I was promised something she did not want to give to me when I work hard and tried to learn as fast as I could. Once I got to a place where I could than ask for a raise some how money ends up missing under a register with my name. When I was forced to do other jobs in the store but work on my register. When my register sat in the office for 4-5 hours after I left uncounted because the manager who said she was counting it failed to and left it on another manager. All the blame placed on me when I am innocent and now without a job I was just homeless at 19 and wanted to be able to build something for myself again but can’t because people does stuff like this and think it’s okay because there still...
Read moreI go to the Burger King often now since it's only a block away from a medical clinic I visit often. It's the Burger King here off Market St Store #556. The employees that take my order are always nice. Theres this female employee I see all the time (didnt catch her name & she wasnt in today) but she always remembers me and greats me as soon as I come in. She has long dark hair & always works the front xounter when I come in Thursday mornings between 8-9am. Someone ahould know who im talking about! Today, the employee named NICK took my order today. He was very prompt, kind, and attentive to my needs. The food was quick, fresh, and is always hot🔥I like their hashbrown bites, the croissan'wich, and BK royal sandwich. Those are my favorites.. As for drinks: BK's frozen cherry drink is super refreshing and delicious 😋 as well as the Oreo Shake! Its the best flavor. For once I finally ended up dining in for the 1st time there and I noticed that the store as well as the booths I went to sit in happened to be pleasantly clean! I enjoy this BK store as well as the crew (the morning crew specifically since that's the time of day I always go.) I hope they can get some recognition and keep up the good work! Burger King seems to have coupons in the mail regularly plus there's the Royal Rewards program that I use everytime I order (unless I genuinely forget). There's usually always some deal I can find to use though and I appreciate that. Who doesn't like saving money, am I right? I've been going here more.often because rheyre also more affordable than McDonald's.. I shouldnt have to pay like $9-10 for 3-4 has browns. Thats just ridiculous. Though, at BK i can get a large hashbrown under $4 (except when there's a coupon on the BK app for $1.50 for any size hashbrown) and the large is equivalent to like 3 Mcdonalds hash browns. You cant beat that!! I always use their rewards program and their deals so with that it's more affordable than many other similar places like McDonald's, Rallys, Wendy's, Five Guys, etc. That's why I go to BK plus the quality ain't bad either. I haven't had a fail here so far when grabbing food for myself and family especially during the mornings. I usually go before noon and that crew is at least on top of it. I was weary at first because about a year ago when I used to Doordash it seemed like everytime I went there it took forever, they'd forget stuff like all the drinks and they'd be randomly closed or not taking orders middle of the day. I went back for the drinks for this poor old guy and no one answered the drive up so I literally went to Circle K across the street and bought this guy fountain drinks out of my own money cuz I felt bad making me waste time and money. They must've done some firing and hiring in between then because now I go regularly despite me being reluctant to go back and give them another try after expirences a little over a year ago. If that's always happened to you then I encourage you to go back and give them another shot. The current crew seems on top of it and hasn't disspointed or messed up since I started going regularly this summer! Thumbs up guys, keep up this good work!...
Read moreRob Bass said it in his rap song and it was the truth back in the 80’s. The Whopper was a treat each and every time that I bought one. It’s still not the Burger King of old, but they have really improved upon the quality doesn’t matter, serve them anything Good Burger, keep cranking ‘em out stage / that it appeared that they took for the first 24 years or of this century. I left many Whoppers unfinished during this stage. I kept going back even though I knew that I would leave disappointed. They changed the fries recipe so many times that I began to prefer their minced onion, onion rings over the like warm never crunchy sticks. Today my fries were crunchy and my Patty Melt was “One tasty burger!” My only regret? One flavor of diet soda. Come on! Wendy’s has a million flavors now Arby’s and Taco Bell even give me a choice. Get Diet 7up or a diet Root Beer flavor, please? The mini Churros taste as good as the Churros taste at a carnival. The chocolate dipping sauce was pretty artificial tasting and lame, but I’m sure other flavors will...
