
I would not recommend you banking with Buckeye or even opening a saving account. Opened a savings account years ago for my car loan and they made me open a saving account. Which was okay. Then once my loan was complete they sent me a letter letting me k ow I have a balance in my balance and I can pick up or leave it open. I was moving at the time so I had to wait to go get and I don’t live close to the location. Since I waited till “June” not knowingly that it’s a new quarter and the balance of saving account has to be over $250 they took my $10 for a par fee. Never once used this account or anything and this is not the first they will charge you a fee (don’t use the online app to pay your loan). On the letter it did not say come get this before it’s a new quarter or the amount I will have to keep my account at. It’s not common Courtesy to send a letter with the other letter stating that there will be fees since the account was open years ago and I never used the savings account? I will never open up a saving...
Read moreI called in back in November and had some questions about a refi of my current loan with Huntington. I was told I had to speak to manager. I work in nursing both locally and I travel so my tome is limited so i tried to call in and stopped on 2 Saturdays hoping to get information when I had extra time. Both times no manager and when I asked what Saturday the manager would be there no one could tell me and moreless indicated never. I took a travel assignment for a month in Texas so I didn't worry about it. I started seeing social media ads and thought I'd give buckeye one more shot, especially with rates being so low. I tried to call in again,spoke with Shantell (not sure how to spell her name) and she was great. Read moreSo disappointed and upset. I had a car loan with Buckeye Credit Union and all payments were made on time. I had payments scheduled from my checking account. I called in March to find out what my final payment would be in April. I was given an amount and scheduled the payment. I received a call stating that I have past due amounts and was subject to late fee. I explained to the customer service rep that I called, got an amount and paid it. She then told me the FINAL amount paid was incorrect and this in turn caused a late payment fee. I asked if the fee could be waived because as she could see there was never a late payment for the duration of the loan. Instead she gave me a speech on what I should do the next time to prevent this. I was so upset she talked to me this way....my bills are paid on time. Sorry I was human. Hopefully I will receive my car title...
