Hanini Subs — Restaurant in Akron

Ordered through delivery $50 worth of food directly from haninis website. First red flag was they don’t give u ANY tracking information. Just an estimated time. My time was 647. At 730 I called for the status of my order. They said delivery driver stated he handed someone the order. I was the ONLY person home at the time so I know that’s a lie. I asked him to describe me or my house and he couldn’t. They told me to call back the next day for the owner. The next morning, I see my food scattered at my NEIGHBORS HOUSE outside. Not only did they lie about hand delivering it like the instructions said, but they left it at the wrong house. Called the owner the next day and RUDE is an understatement. He called me every name in the book, said I’m lying, etc. it’s HANINIS. They act like it’s a 5 star restaurant. What reason do I need to lie and get free food for ??? I was then told that he was going to call the cops on me because I want my money back for a terrible delivery job that THEIR personal delivery driver did.

They said “it’s always black ppl who want a discount” I don’t want a discount. I want my money back or my food !!!!!!!

This Location is so money hungry and doesn’t care about their customers at all. I took a chance and ordered from them even though the quality of their food isn’t the best and I didn’t wanna drive to Britain rd but NEVER AGAIN. I will gladly drive the extra miles to get to...

Edit up to two stars from one, previous review below.... Ended up here with a friend...still not impressed with the meat/food quality but the place was clean for the first time ever. Pricing is very reasonable but again the meat is not good. I wouldn't recommend the baklava either which tasted like something burned had fallen into the filling and/or the person who made it was chain smoking... The one good thing I got today were the zucchini planks and they were down right amazing. I really don't want to come back here but if a friend does, at least I finally found one good thing to order.

The food is huge but nothing I've tried yet is any good. I've been here several times hoping to find something because it all looks great but I think I'm done. Itailan sub here is low quality salami and baloney that has a gamey taste to it like deer Trail. New York Rueben/corned beef/ pastrami is dry, old meat and just not worth eating. The same with the loaded fries, it truly looks awesome being stacked up but tastes like greasey dirt. Philly steak here is like the microwave stuff you buy from the freezer section of the grocery store. Not impressed at all!

Then every single thing is covered in something sticky/disgusting if you make the mistake of eating in. Health department are...

Today, I tried to place a order over the phone, the lady was very nasty about her response an told us to place it online. So, I went online to place my order and was having problems with the site itself, so I used two totally different phones an they had the same problem, which was with special order it would freeze an not continuing. So, I called back an told the same lady the issue an politely ask can she take it over the phone she was very rude..told me that they just got a order, so I explained again the issue. She told me well I don't know what to tell you, guess you going to have to come in..first off there is a reason for delivery an how you going to have a business that offer delivery, but I can't call the store. Last time I tried to place a $100.00 order online they cancelled it. I love Haninis an have no problem with spending money, but you just lost a customer. Which in business terms, you just lost 10 customers because I'm telling everyone not to go to the one on the university campus because their customer service sucks..i am very disappointed! Suggestion, If you don't like your job than find somewhere else to work where you don't deal...
