I'll be honest, I thought this place was something else when I made our reservation but then was told that the place I THOUGHT I was reserving closed YEARS ago. But it was in the same area where we had some other events scheduled so we just went with it and boy, am I glad we did! This place gets an A+ in every area. Service, food, price and atmosphere. Our server's name was Rebecca and she was absolutely AMAZING with our party of NINE. She was at tentative and KIND and she spoke to the children in the group like their favorite aunt would. She honestly treated us like she was serving her own family dinner and made our visit so comfortable. The food was INCREDIBLE! We ordered the feast for 2 and there was so much food on this platter that my family of four had left overs for DAYS. The feast was served with warm bread, a huge salad to share, soup, garlic bread, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, 2 Italian sausages, ravioli, chicken parm, and a dessert! We also ordered an appetizer and a flat bread pizza for the kids and our bill was less than $60 for my family of 4. We were SHOCKED by the price and expected to be paying way more for the quantity and quality of food that was served. The Spaghetti Warehouse building itself is a REALLY cool building. The size alone is impressive and there just seems to be rooms upon rooms, upon rooms for seating and private parties. There are fun pieces of history stashed throughout the restaurant like an old ski lift, a trolly car, a booth made out of a brass bed and an old fashioned stop light. There are also a few arcade games and claw machines in the entrance area that held the kids' interest for a good while - my favorite were the old carnival style fortune telling machines. Most are only 25-50 cents/play instead of a dollar so you don't feel like you're getting ripped off in the lobby. I'm sure here is a lot more that I am missing that I didn't even notice because I was preoccupied by my children. I think I saw that they have a mystery theater dinner or something too - which I would LOVE to check out. All in all this was a total win and we will definitely be going back!

Natively from Cleveland and still living in the Cleveland area, I have worked in Akron for over 12 years now. In all of these years, I have passed by the Spaghetti warehouse hundreds of times as I have cycled, run, or walked on the Ohio Erie tow path that runs near the building during my lunch times. I finally had an opportunity to visit during a work lunch event recently. From the outside, the building blends in well with the area. It looks very much like its namesake "Warehouse" design. Walking in, there is an amazing amount of decor and design and just things to see everywhere. I found myself just scanning around the restaurant during our meal trying to find all the various things on the walls, on the ceiling, everywhere. There was a long boat suspended above our heads and a full train trolley car, it's pretty great. Lunch option wise, there is a solid choice of various Italian food staples, including a unlimited soup and salad option (which is what I choose) I opted for the small upcharge of a dollar and got the beer chili and Italian dressing for my salad. Salad wise, it was basically some romaine lettuce with little more, olive garden the salad was not. Great as a side salad but nothing remarkable in that regard. The beer chili was quite good and something I enjoyed thoroughly. Some of the other folks tried the chicken Parmesan and said that it was excellent. The chicken was well prepared and the spaghetti and sauce were both great. Overall, service was good, food was good, and the atmosphere was great. Sad I missed out on this restaurant for so many years. Absolutely a place I will be returning to in the future.

I should have known from the start going here was going to be nothing but a hassle. I called, it automatically goes to “this line has been disconnected” I Emailed, no reply. After maybe 8 times calling on separate times and days, I was able to make a reservation for a party of 25- I was then asked what package I wanted, I asked package for what? I got a snarky response that parties of 25 or more need to order from the package. After being directed to go to the banquet tab and then to the Akron location to look at the options I said I would call back after reviewing the packages taking into consideration dietary needs for multiple people. I re-did a head count and we dropped to 20. I called back was able to get through the first time. Was then transferred to a snarky manager to give my details. I inform her it’s a surprise party with 20 guests. She asks what package. I say no package as we 20 and the website says 25. She snaps, well we have multiple locations and here I know for sure it says 20. (fun fact, it for sure does not). I say well, 2 are babies and I have them in the head count for space. She finally adjusts and accepts my reservation for 18. I arrive with the guest of honor- we were put in the large, cold party room to the right. I was informed by my guests that they were treated with attitude when asked how many people and if it was going to be more than 20 that there would be a different menu. I planned it; not them how would they know how many people. Not to mention I gave all that information at least a week and a half ago. Tables were absolutely disgusting! Everything was sticking to them. Not enough bread for 18 people; didn’t bother asking for more since our waitress was never around. We had to get up and ask for just about everything. She put a tray of extra drinks in the room for us to help ourselves to, she told us it had everything but iced tea and diet on the tray. When asked for a diet she proceeded to hand a regular to us from the tray and walks right away. She comes back and we ask for a diet again and she laughs and goes oh yea that’s not a diet. The wait for food wasn’t unreasonable for most of the table. The way things were plated was odd. One guest ordered lasagna with a side of sausage and meatballs. Lasagna was plated on a small plate while the meats were plated in a bowl that was very happy to see us (if you get my drift lol). By the time the last person got her pizza; the first person was finished with his dish. She placed all the checks on the same drink tray for us to grab ourselves incase someone needed to leave sooner than others. Thoughtful, but then wasn’t around to take payment. When it came to returning the credit cards, she asked who had the red card? Who had the Visa? We asked her to just read the names she replied with well those are on the back. The screen shot is the banquet menu that is the same for Akron, Dayton, and Toledo.

I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the food but I hadn’t. I really wanted to enjoy this place as I’ve heard good things about it; I just don’t think I’ll be coming here again. I really did enjoy the vibe of the place though as the decor was really interesting to look at. I had gotten a water to drink, but part of a produce sticker was still attached to my lemon which was all the way in my water. So it made me kind of uncomfortable to think that it probably wasn’t washed and was just sliced through and shoved into my water, not even placed on the rim of the glass. We were given pieces of kinda? toasted bread and then butter that was hard to smear. It was just kinda bland for me. Then I got the Cesar salad before my main, which was a bunch of lettuce, some cheese, iffy croutons and then the dressing. It wasn’t a horrible salad, I just wish there could’ve been some other veggies added to make it not so boring, like tomatoes or cucumbers. For my main, I had got the classic spaghetti with marinara and grilled mushrooms added. The first thing I noticed was how liquidy it was. Even one of my friends had Italian cheese ravioli and experienced the same issue. My food was not very warm and all-around the flavor was just not there. It felt as if they took a jar of cheap marinara sauce and poured it over some boxed spaghetti. Our server was super kind and wasn’t rude or anything. They just seemed super super tired and so had forgotten several things we had asked for. I felt bad to be honest and it wasn’t their fault about the food so I’m not upset at them. I feel the only real redeeming quality is the food wasn’t outrageously expensive and I got full fairly quickly.

This was my first and last visit to Spaghetti Warehouse. We wanted to take my young son out for his birthday and because he loves trains, thought it'd be fun to come here and sit in the trolley. He was so excited. The hostess and waitress were kind, but service was a little slow. I can deal with slow, given that many places are short staffed right now. However, the general cleanliness of the establishment was questionable. The floors were sticky and needed a good sweep/mopping. The women's restroom smelled terribly and the toilets clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time, to the point where I refused to use the facility and just waited until I got home. The food was sub par. My 2 boys ordered the kids mac-n-cheese and stopped only after a couple of bites because they didn't like it - it wasn't creamy, just sticky (how do you mess up mac-n-cheese?!). None of the employees were wearing masks and while I respect personal choice, knowing that we are currently in the worst part of the pandemic, I don't understand why a restaurant wouldn't require masks of their employees for.the safety of their customers. After we finished eating and we were heading out, I asked the hostess if there was a manager I could talk to so that I could express my concerns. She said yes, that he's probably in his office, and then she walked away to seat another customer who walked in after we had asked her. It was so strange. We waited for a couple of minutes and when she didn't come back to assist us in speaking with a manager, we just left. I wish I would have walked out of there as soon as we arrived. It really put a damper on the birthday celebration.

Beautiful free standing, nostlgic building surrounded by lots of available parking for even the busiest of times, handicap parking available and wheelchair accessible entrance with a nice roomy ramp for convenience. Come dine alone or with family, equipt to serve small parties and large parties as well. Service was exceptional, pleasant and friendly. Inside has an open floor atmosphere with high ceilings, very spacious and roomy. Decor was fun and blissful. Nice limited menu. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Makes for a happy wallet! Full service bar for your desired spirits. Nice sized portions served, leftovers are most likely going to happen lol. Your palate will be pleased and gratified. Cheesy bread appetizer hits the spot, scrumpt-deli-licious! Spag is yummy! Italian wedding soup had an ok flavor, however could use more authentic Italian ingredients, a more homemade fresh taste recommended. Acini de pepe or Fregola with fresh baby spinach (NO celery!)along with bite sized pieces of Italian sausage and/or chicken in a homemade chicken stock broth with added Italian spices and herbs, would make this soup simple and the best (just a suggestion 😉). Iced tea is quite refreshing! We enjoyed our dining experience immensely. I highly recommend "The Spaghetti Warehouse" for your fun and friendly, delicious dining experience! We will return, and that's for certain! Bon appetit and Godspeed everyone!
