Let me start this by saying I am not a complainer in the least. I’m the type of person who could get the wrong meal in a restaurant and not say a word because I don’t want to inconvenience anyone. I usually don’t even write reviews good or bad because I just don’t make the time for it. But my families experience was so poor tonight that I felt the need to say something. This was our first time at this bowling ally and my children’s first time bowling ever. We were having such a great time and had ordered dinner while we were there. We signed up for 2 hours of bowling and our experience with that was great. We got right in with no wait. Then we received our food. It was fine, kids were enjoying. All was good. My husband and I ordered 2 burger entrees, my kids both a cheese quesadilla and basket of fries and nachos for the table. About half way through my burger I bit and ripped a hair that was actually grilled into the meat in the middle. I was pretty grossed out but I’m aware that this stuff happens. My husband brought up my burger that I had already unfortunately eaten half of before biting the hair. They said they had to call the manager because they were not there and my husband showed them the hair. He told them where we were bowling (which lane) and went back to the table. He advised them we didn’t need a refund but would just like a new one cooked. We aren’t complainers or ones to want to get something for free. But all we wanted was what we paid for . A hairless burger. I would also like to mention we had left a 9 dollar tip to them as well. After about 5-10 minutes with no word my husband went back up to see if there was any resolution and he was told the manager wouldn’t do anything about it. At that point I went up (35 weeks pregnant I might add) to find out why. They said they looked and saw no hair. I advised them it was very noticeable and would gladly show them. She said she already threw it away. I told her that wasn’t fair of her to do because it takes away the proof. She then ripped it out of the trash and tossed it up on the table in front of me to have her show her. The problem was, when she threw it in the trash it got smothered in ketchup and mustard that was also on the tray for my fries. There was no way to decipher a hair at that point… she then angrily called the manager and handed me the phone to talk to her myself. The manager was extremely nasty on the phone after I calmly explain the situation to her. I was frustrated but never nasty to her. She called me a liar, and said that all four of her staff looked and didn’t see it. When my husband had handed her the burger, he pointed directly at the hair. I advised the Manager that they threw it away. And there was no way for me to show them again. All I knew was it was cooked into the meat.. She said that it was impossible because they are premade. Something I also found very strange and a little racist was that she said and I quote “ Black people don’t have real hair” and that all of her staff were African-American…. That it would be impossible for there to be a hair. I found that very weird and rude to say. She refused to help me and I left there feeling very disheartened. I will never be back after this. My kids wanted to do the arcade games at the end and I refused to spend another dime at this facility. I still hope that they make it right but have very little hope that they do. I don’t know what their problem was but I would think twice before coming here. Just know that god forbid you order food and it comes out with something wrong with it they will not help you and will not refund, remake or make right a single thing. It’s so sad because the bowling was fine and my kids enjoyed that part until they ruined the rest of our experience with horrible customer service and bad attitudes. Sorry this is so long. Just had to get it...
Read moreI've been bowling here for 25 years. I have family in the bowling hall of fame who have been bowling here for longer. Today, I brought my family and kids and my parents to bowl together for my mother's birthday. The guy at the desk sold us on the "special" which was $11 per person including shoes for 2 hours which I was happy to pay. Since the place was slow, I asked if we could get two lanes (the kids wanted bumpers, and I did not because I wanted to try out my new ball that I literally JUST BOUGHT AND GOT DRILLED HERE A WEEK AGO). They happily obliged, and we were happy to bowl. Until the 1-hour mark hit and both our lanes shut down. Guy at desk says, "oh, it's $11 for 2 hours per lane, and since you asked for two lanes, you only get 1 hour on each." Are you for real? So you're saying that if three of us got a lane and paid $33, then the other three paid for a different lane and paid $33 that we'd all get to bowl for 2 hours? But since we paid as a group of six we only get 1 hour!? We paid the same amount of $$$! What the actual **!? We were all getting ready to order drinks and food but you can better believe we packed up and left ASAP. Station 300, do better. There are other places to bowl in the area with better lanes, better food, and better service....
Read moreHad a GREAT day there today! My family always loved Stonehedge (especially my young nephew, who loves both bowling and arcades). But honestly, we stopped going because the staff were so rude and weird to us. I’m one of those “too nice” people, but even I couldn’t handle going there anymore. For example, one time we showed up with 12 people and asked for 3 lanes (during open bowling, and there were barely any other people there). They said, “you can’t have that many people” and walked away?! It was always this kind of thing - I tried my usual “oh maybe these people are just having a worse day than me,” but after many months of this, every time we tried, my family just stopped going there. It just got too uncomfortable and we all dreaded speaking to the staff. It actually became a family inside joke! But the people we met there today were ALL a delight - from the counter to the bar to the kitchen. The prices were also EXCELLENT and more than fair! It sounds overly dramatic but I’m so grateful that we have a local alley again ❤️ if you’ve never been or haven’t been there in a while, try Station 300! We haven’t tried the games yet, but the food, bowling, pinball, bar, and PEOPLE are...
