ABSOLUTELY THE WORST AND RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I spend hundreds of dollars a month in this store , and in last 3 times I have been into Alabaster, I litterally can't beg anyone to ring me up.Only one girl at check out stood at counter on her phone, totally ignored me until I finally spoke up and asked her if she was open to ring me up. She then instructed me to go to next register and she would get to me ...as she continued to stand looking at her phone. 5 other people waiting behind me ,while she did NOTHING. I left without making my purchase. This store won't stay in buisness this way and I surely will take my business elsewhere. This rating should be a BIG FAT ZERO!
**As a follow up- after reading the reply to my review ( that seems as if it was a computer writing)...I decided to read a few other reviews and found that my concerns were closely related to several others. It seems to me that Ulta doesn't care to fix the issues with their customer service. Like the old saying goes, "Where there's smoke ,there's fire." To Ulta management, it's great that you have someone or something to reply to your customer reviews ,but how about actually making changes to the issues that keep affecting your business? I went to the next closest Ulta today ( Hoover) and was greated and well taken care of. The store was clean and properly stocked. I was actually able to BUY what I went in for, and was treated like I was a valued customer. So with all that said , PLEASE stop patronizing customers by saying you will "CONTINUE TO IMPROVE", because it's easy to read, and plain to see you haven't begun to address any of this!! Maybe fire everyone at Alabaster and start over! ..or go in with a training team and teach these people how to treat their customers with a little common curtesy! More importantly, being kind to someone is something we all should know how to do without being asked ,shown, or forced to do so just because its part...
Read moreIf I could have given zero stars, I would have. Do NOT go in this Ulta. I usually love this store and have spent a lot of money there but I have never been more insulted in my life. The employees at this particular store are awful. They were incredibly rude and I guess they thought I was a shoplifter or something because they followed me around the entire store. I have never stolen anything in my life and I did not give off any signs that I was trying to steal at all. I was just walking around looking at different things. But they didn't even try to hid what they were doing. Literally followed me everywhere I went. It was ridiculous. I have NEVER been treated like that. So my advice, don't go in this Ulta... unless you want to be made to feel like a criminal. They were so rude. Unbelievably so. I will never again go in that store. They should be ashamed. I did NOTHING wrong. I was planning on buying a few things that I needed, but they won't be seeing a dime of my money.. take the few extra minutes and drive to the Birmingham location. However, it can be overwhelming sometimes and when you go in, you expect the people that work there to know what they're talking about or Maybe not everything but at least know where things are located and if you don't know, that's OK but find someone that does know and help me get to that place. It would be like working at Home Depot and not knowing anything about tools I went in today. There was a guy behind the counter. I asked where something was and did they carry it? He didn't know. Second off when I pulled up the ad on my phone saying that Ulta did carry this particular brand he starts pointing in the back of the store on one side..." it could possibly be over there, it could possibly be over here". What kind of Customer Service is that? I'm just curious. It's ridiculous is what it is. Have the common decency to get out from behind the counter or if you can't get out from behind the counter, so if you could Hold on and I will get someone that can help...
