We visited this location today and purchased a bunch of awesome alaskan tshirts, fireweed honey, custom candy and coffee mug. My oldest is autistic. Unfortunately we had a meltdown during check out and the staff was so kind and went above and beyond to make me as a mom not feel embarrassed. I cannot thank the staff enough for being a disability friendly establishment. One lady who worked here even ran over to help clean up my sons mess! It's so hard for us to make public outtings in general, completely impossible without the aid of my sons service dog (pictured) so today I really appreciated the kind smiles and words of "its okay" along with the helpful hands. Highly recommend the products and staff at this location. 😊 Thanks for being special needs and service dog friendly!

We found about this place by accident, while having lunch at the Bear paw grill and bar the menu suggested to visit this place. So we did. The first thing I saw was a huge stuffed Polar bear inside the building. Then a huge chocolate fountain with a autographed Willy Wonka memorabilia frame on the wall. They sell many different types of chocolate, and they show you how they make them too. They also sell Alaska souvenirs, shirts, hats, maps, food, candy, etc. It gets a bit busy at times but customer service is at point. Plenty of parking, public restrooms, easy in and out the building and parking lot. Highly recommended.

10/9/23- We stopped by to buy a few souvenirs and chocolate candy. Instead we caught a young man, red shirt, wearing a head set following us like we were there to shoplift. If you're going to follow people darker than you don't be obvious. I didn't see him following the white shoppers. I said it, and he did it. The chocolate samples with jam in the middle are nasty. A lady said she didn't like the maple fudge, and their prices are high. Pretty much not worth the trip here. This experience was bad! All my other reviews for Alaska have been 5 🌟

For chocolate and candy fans. Approx 15-20mins max.

Needed to do my part as a tourist to visit all the touristy spots.

Mediocre tourist spot that did little to spark my inner child or tourist. Saw the world tallest chocolate fountain which was kind of dusty.

They had a mini self guided candy, chocolate, popcorn and jam making tour. It's really just a few signboard, didn't exactly learn much.

They have a chocolate display where you can sample some of their chocolates.

They have lots of gifts and souvenirs available for purchase, chocolate, candies, ulu knife, tshirt, slippers, jacket, caps. Pretty much everything a tourist would think of buying.

Staff were polite and courteous. Nice to just pop by to take a look if you have some spare time and is around the corner....

This shop has everything you're looking for in the way of Alaska edible products: from smoked salmon, halibut, jellies from Alaska berries, honeys from bees feeding on Alaska flowers, sausage with reindeer meat, cheeses, sourdough pancake mix, Alaska roasted coffees, to their fine handmade chocolates and candies.

They also carry a wide variety of Alaskan jewelry, Alaska t-shirts, and other souvenirs.

Alaska Wild Berry has a long and reputable history from their one shop focusing on the wild berry jams, jellies and honeys, now to stores throughout the state and their expanded lines of products.

The Anchorage location boasts the world's largest chocolate waterfall which is a fun sight. This is a wonderful shop to visit to purchase gifts to give or...
