I highly recommend this gym. I tried another Crossfit gym in Anchorage and this is far superior.
One of the things I like best is the welcoming, friendly atmosphere. There are people of all shapes, sizes, and physical abilities and everyone is friendly and encouraging. When I cannot finish the exercises as quickly as others, I have never once felt that people were annoyed by it. Conversely, people cheer you on.
The facility is large so you are not crowded and the exercises are explained thoroughly with a big emphasis is on avoiding injuries while building muscle.

The gym is much more spacious than Crossfit Alaska or Northern Exposure vertically (so think ropes) and square footage. They even have turf laid out for Strong Man training and their set up is still not crowded. This place also plays the best tunes (in my opinion).
I highly recommend at least doing their fundamentals class. It is three hours long and goes over the advanced olympic lifts like cleans and the snatch. This place is kind of like a hidden jem; the classes are not oversized yet.

Read moreI traveled to Anchorage for 6 weeks this summer and needed a Crossfit gym to stay in shape. After my first drop in I ended up purchasing the 10 class punch card and worked out here for the rest of the month.
Keila does a great job running this place! All the coaches are well trained and super informative, the workouts are programmed well, and strict sanitation protocols made me feel safe during the pandemic.
