First time here. I had the tacos plate with 3 tacos. One each of the steak, pulled pork, and the chorizo. The guy at the counter was really patient with my indecisiveness. I looked over the salsa bar and found it lacking and the limes were cut in a way that ensures you get lime juice all over your fingers (why do that?). The food came out quick and looked good. The beans were not refried but whole and were good. So was the rice. The chorizo taco was first and tasted overcooked and very bland. The pulled pork was next. Also a little on the bland side but better than the chorizo. The steak was last and while the best of the three it was still underwhelming.
After I came in the only person working the front was slammed by several more customers. He seems like a hard worker and was doing his best. Still no refill on my drink, but thats ok. This place seems popular, but i wont be back. I do wish them luck, though. Good thing Wendy's...

Read moreTacos are okay but I've had better elsewhere. I had the 3 taco plate with rice and beans and added one extra taco. The beans were tasty but a really small portion, like 4 bites. My teen son got a chicken burrito and half of it was shredded lettuce-- he said the flavor was meh and dumped the avocado salsa all over it. We both got small horchatas, little 12oz cups half filled with ice for $3.50 each, yikes. The dining room looks run down-- One of the booths has a hole in the wall where it looks like someone punched it. The salsa bar wasn't open... actually the salsa bar was never open the two times I went there several years ago, either. Not sure why they have the little station out there all the time if it's not consistently...
