ALDI — Attraction in Albemarle

It’s ALDI. Bring a quarter if you want a buggy. Or just buy what you can carry in your arms. Aldi doesn’t care if you buy much. Bring your own bags or scrounge for boxes, again Aldi doesn’t care about user experience or if you buy much of anything. That said Aldi does have a few cool items, just don’t expect to find them again next time you go. Despite all the hurdles and inconsistent stock it’s an interesting store to find a few things at a decent price. On some things the prices are almost as good as Food Lion or Walmart, just bear in mind Aldi will not have everything you need and you will need to go to a regular grocery store with no deposit required shopping carts and bags anyway. They have great prices on produce, although you do have to make sure it's not bruised up. They have a variety of cheeses and dips that are worth a try if you are a foodie like me. I love a good charcuterie board and they have a good assortment of meats that won't bust your budget. Aldi has a decent wine 🍷 selection, I do hate that some wines are seasonal, so if you find one you like stock up because they may not get it anymore. Enjoy stopping by Aldi when in town. Some items are great, other items are awesome! I love buying Aldi block/round cheeses. You can’t find better prices on the cheese than here. I have had a few “bad items” with their frozen selection. I really like shopping there around the holidays because they have a great selection of items to make a tray/board with. Sometime the lines can get really backed up and aisles are blocked due to stocking but you can usually go back to the item...
