Mister Car Wash — Attraction in Albuquerque

I had a monthly subscription for unlimited carwashes until yesterday.

As I'm about to enter the car wash an employee runs up to my window and asks for my unlimited sticker. He says that I need to place the sticker on the outside of the windshield. I said that I don't want stickers on my windshield. He said, "Then we'll have to cancel your membership." and walks away with my unlimited sticker.

After the carwash I ask them what the big deal is with having the sticker on my windshield? The employee said, "We require the sticker be on the windshield." I said, "I know, but why?" He said, "To prevent people from washing multiple cars." I asked, "What's the difference if I wash the same car 30 times a month, or 30 different cars in a month?" The employee said, "Uhh, you'll have to ask corporate about that." (Facepalm)

I understand the employee is just doing what he was told to do, but this was such a strange encounter. And such a strange policy to enforce. Do they not have the technology to determine if the car make, model, color and license plate matches the membership? Oh well, I'll just find a less odd place to...

Overall decent place except don't really like the self service vacuum only style system they have since I pay 75$ a month plus tax for unlimited washes,it covers exterior cleaning and wax,and access to the self service vacuuming but the vaccums are a little ineffective and need to be maintained,maybe have the brush tips for getting stuff like hair off the car mats ,I do like the air compressor though to clean hard to get areas ,in between buttons and stuff,If they offered even a quick vaccum by an employee before the car gets ran through the automated wash ,that would feel more worth the cost, the automatic wash sometimes takes a couple runs to get it clean as I prefer ,that's one of the more.positive things about this place is if you pay a monthly membership ship it's unlimited washes and I can go through 10 times in a row in the same day if I needed to ,if they eventually offer a pre wash vacuum/interior clean by a crew even just the minimal I would change my...

This car wash is fantastic! This car wash always makes our truck shiny and gets the job done, but I think the locations with Sonny’s and MCWW equipment cleans and drys a little better than the locations that have MacNeil equipment. I’m sad to say that, because my aunt use to sell MacNeil car wash equipment. I hope they replace the 2 express locations in Albuquerque with Sonny’s and MCWW equipment, because the MacNeil equipment just doesn’t clean as well. Don’t get me wrong, MacNeil equipment still does an okay job. One of my complaints about the Central and San Pedro location is that we always have to make a complicated u-turn, because of the stupid ART bus lane, but that’s not the fault of the employees.
