JUST LOVE IT!!😁 The Alexandria farmers market is THE place to be on Tuesday afternoons. It has a great Rural Route vibe on downtown Jackson St. It's right across from the beautiful First United Methodist church. I wanted everything I saw, from fresh tomatoes (tomato sandwiches tonight !) to handmade dish soap from Garden District Soapery, which I WILL be purchasing next week. We especially enjoyed the chicken pot pie fried pie 😋 from Debbie's Meat Pies, we should have bought two! The pralines were gone and so were most all of Hailles Hot Tamales by 5 pm. If you haven't been you should make a point to stop by at least once. You wont regret it.
My Vist was to the market off Jackson St....

The directors of the market need to diversify some of the sellers, the day i was there there were 3 booth selling lemonade. There was a Kona Ice truck selling, not sure what that had to do with a Farmers market. I hope this market...
