Just had a bad experience at Popeyes #4466 in Alexandria, with the shift manager of all people! Traveling through, We ordered a late lunch through the drive through. They were very quick to get our order together. But left off our apple pies. When we went bk to the windows to ask for our apple pies we noticed one of our sandwiches were made wrong. As Iām trying to explain to the manager whatās wrong she got an attitude trying to tell me NO it was correctā¦.I explained again that the orders were wrong again both sandwiches should have been plain- NO MAYO. She insisted it must have been rang up wrong (we donāt know bc we never got a receipt! But when she came bk to the window with the sandwich she said it was ordered correctly⦠but never once apologized for the mistake that SHE made in making the order. Then we asked for a couple of napkins bc nothing was in the bag, and she gave us 2 napkinsā¦.now Keep in mind we just ordered 3 separate meals of greasy chicken spending almost $40, traveling in a car that will hardly suffice. This was not the first time my order was not right or complete. I called and asked for a manager to complain of the omission and error in my order. It took him several tries to find my order due to the fact he was not listening when I plainly said my order was # 631 and he kept looking at order #636. After repeatedly stating my order was 631 he finally found it . He repeated correctly the order that was placed and he was confident that i received everything for he placed the sauce in the bag himself. We soon learned their systems were acting up and were down, leading to an almost hour-and-a-half wait. Despite this, neither clear signage nor staff at the ordering speaker informed us of significant shortages. We were simply told we had to substitute mac and cheese for fries. It wasn't until we reached the window that we discovered they were out of nearly everything we orderedātenders, BBQ sauce, fries. The only items we received were two wraps.
