The Salad Station — Local services in Alexandria

This place is hands down my favorite go-to spot for a fresh, healthy meal. The ingredients are always top quality — you can literally taste how fresh the veggies are. I love the fact that you can customize your own salad exactly how you like it, from the greens to the toppings and dressings. They have a great variety of proteins and add-ins so it never gets boring, and everything is super clean and well-organized.

My only complaint (and the reason I keep checking back!) is that I really wish they would bring back the taco soup. It was the perfect warm, flavorful option for colder days or when you just wanted something comforting but still healthy. I don’t know why they took it off the menu, but it deserves a comeback!

I do not live in Alexandria, but love the fresh salad. I have ate here everyday for 2 weeks now, and it isn’t cheap. What I know about this restaurant is, the floor is never clean, and it doesn’t matter what time of the day I visit this location. I usually get there at 11am or before. Also their reward system stinks, and actually it’s just pitiful. I have spent hundreds of dollars and barely have enough points for a 12oz soup. So I have decided after today I will spend my money at McAlister’s, where their reward program is so much better. I could have already gotten 2-3 meals for free with their reward program had I spent the money with them. Went to get a salad this evening and I was disappointed and disgusted that the garlic herb grilled chicken was burnt!!! When I asked the young gentleman working there If they could put some fresh chicken out he said “that’s all the chicken they had all day and the 1st shift had it to high,” at this point I was disgusted and said so this chicken has been burnt all day? I also asked to speak to a manager and he said I’ll call him he lives 4 minutes away.
