Wildwood Pizza — Restaurant in Alexandria

Unfortunately as much as I enjoy the gluten free pizza, I will not choose Wildwood Pizza again. Stood at counter to order for 15 mins or better while young lady took phone in orders and cleaned tables. Ordered $38 worth of pizzas and drinks. Tried to pay with cash but they had no change. I was ask to pay with Credit Card which had a 4 percent fee attached, final result was me leaving without enjoying my lunch. I find my experience today bad business practice beginning as a dine-in customer standing and waiting while a number of phone in orders are being taken. If your intention is to not keep enough change to except cash then put a sign on the door stating Credit Cards Only with 4 percent fee. I do understand CC fees are expensive for a business as I own my own but I don’t put my customers in the position to where they have no payment choices and are forced...

Best place for puzza in Cenla, and maybe the state. Better taste than Embers at half the cost. I mean 20 buck for a personal pizza is crazy. At 10 dollars this is a steal. I have been going here after class since they opened. The service is wonderful, and the pizza comes out in a timely manner. Two for one beer and wine on Wednesday and a five dollar pepperoni pizza on Monday so, you can even dine here on a budget. The toppings are always fresh, and have even seen them purchase toppings at the local farmers market. If i could give them more stars i would. The service was great. I appreciated the timing of the meal from placing the order to it actually being done.

I ordered a side salad with the wild wood ranch (basic salad- basic ranch) and the cheese pizza.

The 2 star rating was because of the pizza. It was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what these other reviews were about- or if I just had a bad pizza- but the bottom of the pizza felt powdery and looked as if it had ash on the bottom- tasted the same.

I have a rating that I use when I go out- would I go again with my money- no.

Would I go again if someone else were paying- maybe- but I would be disappointed- and would probably stick to the salad.
