Virginia DMV Alexandria Customer Service Center — Attraction in Alexandria

I arrived at 4:30pm ( my appointment was at 5:00pm) outside was The Guest manager (Heavy set White guy with glasses ),security guard , and a DMV staffer African American with a short pixie hair cut. When I walked you the The Guest Manager was arguing with another African Americans women about her car plates, so I approached the DMV staffer. She told me that I came early and that there was no where for me to sit right now so I had to wait in my car for 15mins. I followed instructions. Then when I walked in the DMV the information Desk lady ( older lady with glasses) reviewed my documents and she told me I did not have all documentation for my drivers license but I can register my vehicle today ( Time 5:03). I asked the lady could I go home and get my documents I lived in Duke st she told me no because it’s only certain time windows. please fill out the paper work and then I was seated at window two the clerk reviewed my documentation and she told me I did not have all my documentation so again I asked again can I go home and get my documentations and she said let me ask The Guest Manager. The Guest Manager told me I can go get my documentation and as-long as I’m back by 5:15 I told him that I can come right back because I lived on Duke st it’s normally a 9min drive when he told me this the time was already 5:06. I did not leave the DMV till 6:10 because I had to gather my paper work and put in my folder I returned to the DMV at 5:25 I live on duke When I came In I told the officer that The Guest manager said I can come back and he said okay go see if they would take you Soo I proceeded to the information lady and I told her I had all my documentation now so can I also get a lincese form she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about so one of the staffer the was assistant my people to sit down remember me and said I can go back to window 2. As I sat there the Guest manager loudly said that I did not return at 5:15 so they Should not had let me in so The Guest Manager approached and said you lied your way in her you said you did not live far away and you was suppose here at 5:15 and you arrived at 5:36 but I am only the guest manager and I go get the manger. So I sat there and waited. The manager arrived and let me proceed to the next available window. I walked to Window 10 greeted by African American Women Supervisor and she processed my documentation without a problem. The Guest Manager yelling at the employee and told them they should not let me in it’s not there fault I Lied my way through and then he walks up to the women working with and tell her I’m only suppose to have one transaction ( I had serval because I just moved up here from Out of state ) because I lied my way through here and I wasn’t suppose to be seen pass my appointment time. The Guest Manager continues to call me a liar to the other employees so once I got done I talked to the head manager and told him the full story and I was very emotional because my character has never been attacked like that and being from the south we are true believers in honesty and he drugged my character through the ground and the head manager and other supervisor made me feel better and they both encourage me to report The...

SECURITY GUARD IS ABHORRENT AND HIS ACTIONS WERE UNACCEPTABLE I went there to register a car and was waiting for 2 hrs. When they finally called us up, my husband realized he needed some information from the current vehicle, I left my husband at the counter, and as I was leaving the rent a cop told me that I couldn't come back in... now in retrospect, the scoff that I gave to him, probably not in my best interest (waiting kind of tested my patience, I'm human).. HOWEVER upon returning, I informed him that I simply wanted to come back in to wait with my family. He was adamant that he would not let me in and that was unacceptable to me. I know he doesn't need to know my life story, but I told him I didn't have ac in the car (it was around 90° outside, imagine what the inside of my car felt like.. think, ....sahara) and that I just wanted to wait inside. I am also feeling under the weather and would have been more comfortable inside, though I didn't disclose that much information. We went back and forth for a minute then, the insolent brute told me that he would go halt the transaction that my husband was doing. I stood there and couldnt believe the ignorance that actually spewed from his trap. So I told him that didn't have anything to do with the transaction, and that I didn't understand why he wouldn't let me back in to WAIT... just wait, I didn't want a new number, I wasn't going to start another transaction, I had just been in there.. He then told me that if I crossed the threshold he would "cuff me because I would be trespassing" so i waited right outside the door. When my husband returned to me he informed me that he did in fact go give the teller a hard time. By far, THE WORST VISIT TO DMV, NO HUMAN COMPASSION. Security guards name was salv----- something or other and was waaayyyy to big for his britches, abusing his title. I hope the management reads this, so they can hire better employees, the job market is hard out there, and customer service is ESSENTIAL for a harmonious coexistence.. we all are working for one another, If you think about it... be it through paying for goods and services or just doing something out of the kindness...

I went to take road test after I passed the knowledge test. I took the number and stay until my number called after approximately thirty minutes, they called my number and I went to the number that I have been told she asked me to show all documents; I showed and I told her I have been there for knowledge test and I passed ;she started to search on the computer and she told me she couldn't get it after some minutes she found and she told me to take the permit ID first I told her I have translated foreign license I knew that if once I took permit ID, it is a must to stay 60 days for road test so I don't want to stay that much I only need road test she rejected me after some debate she asked me to show the original foreign license and I showed her then she said okay we will call you stay on the lobby then I wait then as she told me she called me and she took picture /it is surprising they always take picture /then the black long fat woman called me and asked me where is your car and I showed her and I have no idea how her rudeness is. Then she asked me to show hazard light, parking light, AC, horn, back and break light blah… I did accordingly; then she came inside my car and she asked me to park in the space just in front of my car I thought it is so easy no technical skills needed I just parked there she ordered me to come out of that place just back and go she said I did so but the thing is in this DMV there is one way symbol on the floor but it doesn't see from your vehicle the white paint is already fade you can see if you walk I didn't realize then I went therefore she told me to park another place and I’m dome with today’s exam come next time today you failed she said; it is so funny. I wait some hours outside to see other candidates she used the same trick failed I saw two candidates failed instantly. She is not friendly so guys see the direction of course after entering the compound on the main entrance there is a wrong way symbol so study the flow of traffic in the compound it is so amazing she was happy to see your face when she told your failure.
