DC Poultry is truly a place you can buy your meat and know your buying the quality you deserve. The staff are super friendly, the store is SUPER clean and the prices are more then fair. The experience was awesome. You walk in and the staff greets you, than the staff allows you to select the livestock and once you select your livestock you can see the entire amazingly clean cutting process to your liking. None of the process is behind walls or doors. The owners are awesome people with lots of experience in their unique and transparent meat business. While at the store, I also learned the market will be selling red meat soon and are working on final plumbing and preparing the store for additional offerings with the same exceptional quality. Finally a trusted butchery in Northern Virginia you can buy quality meat, delivered by excellent service, at a great price and be at ease.

I love this place. I am so glad to have a source in this area for organic and halal poultry. Both quality and humane practices are important to me and this pace covers all bases. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They are also knowledgeable, so can answer questions that gives confidence to a consumer. They keep the area clean where the birds are kept and the birds themselves are clean and healthy looking. They are very transparent allowing any interested customer to see the entire butchering process (but keeping it behind for those who prefer not to watch that process). The duck eggs are wonderful!
