Parents, Staff, & City Police please be aware of the Fuzz, as the staff call him, extreme predator! My wife & two kids were enjoying the pool & waiting for the fireworks when I first noticed the Fuzz. He has hair all over his body, talks with foreign accent, & walks around the pool with a Canon camera & Canon video camera with no kids, friends, or wife. He started talking pics all around the pool at different angles however, once the rain started the Fuzz started video recording under the concession both salvaging over the kids being afraid of the lightening. I approached the Fuzz & asked to see his pics & footage he shot with his camera & camcorder. I ask him who was he there with he said nobody. I asked him did he get permission from any parent to film minors he said no. I told him I have been watching him take pics & videos of kids yet he said it was just of the pool, in the rain no Sir! I told him to get the hell out of the pool area since I could not review his footage. I also alerted front staff & lifeguards. Before leaving I also mentioned it to Alpharetta City Police. Parents we have a extreme predator on the loose in Alpharetta be...
Read moreWills Park is a park I frequented as a child and is one I still enjoy as an adult as it has been well-kept throughout the years. However, the tennis coach employed by the park has recently made Wills Park feel inhospitable and unwelcoming. She routinely plays music despite the court rules banning speakers, and I have seen her allow students to disregard rules as well by playing non-racquet sports on court. As I was leaving the courts earlier this week with my friends and a basket of balls, she yelled that teaching wasn’t allowed and then refused to speak or engage further. I’ve heard that she’s approached others in a more aggressive manner but I do not understand how she is claiming that people are not allowed to reach when the online court reservation system and park website mention no such rule and she is clearly teaching herself. I love Wills Park, but do not want to continue paying for court reservations if a park employee feels she is able to yell and be rude to others who have just as much of a right to play tennis at a public park as she and her...
Read moreI have been going to Will's Park since I was a little kid. The playground always seemed incredible to me then, like a castle from the story books had suddenly sprung up in the middle of my hometown. I have many fond memories of playing with my siblings on summer afternoons enjoying all that the park had to offer. I still drop by every so often, not just to reminisce. The tennis courts are not always crowded, like other parks in the area, so it is relatively easy to get some time in. The disc golf course is incredibly fun, with a rather simple front 9 leading into the wooded and challenging back nine. The course is smaller, in terms of how much you have to walk between and during holes than Central Park, at which I also play. The course is very nice, and as such is often crowded, as far as disc golf courses go. Overall, this is a beautiful park with the capacity to create lifelong memories with your kids, and a fun place to hang out for...
