2nd Visit:

Got the Veggie Burger again. Requested the patty not to smashed down so it wont spill out of the bun and actually has a bite to the burger. The woodstock location does not smash down the patty.

Despite the request the cook decided to smash the patty into a thin large disproportionate disc. The beans and rice were not cooked in the patty. It was not mashed into a patty. There was no flavor or structure. Just plain vegetables, rice and beans. The corn made it overly sweet. It does not make sense to have a large thin oversized patty on a tiny burger bun.

They put two onion rings instead of a whole onion slice on the burger and 1 small piece of lettuce which is not even visible in the pic. The sauces were barely present. The blue cheese was barely present. It tasted like raw flour was mixed into it.

Ordered half and half sides with Onion rings and Fries. I kid you not, I was given exactly 6 onion rings. Onion rings were 1/4 of the portion size instead of 1/2. The batter was thick and onion rings were not cooked inside yet the batter was over cooked and oily. The Cajun was sprinkled on the fries and not tossed with the fries. The fries itself were fresh but not hot.

The waiters are still very accommodating. They communicated the requests well to the kitchen. The cook decided to refuse and do whatever they want and deliver poorly. Food was a let down this time. Hopefully things will be better at the next visit.

I request the restaurant to stop skewering the order paper on the burger with the toothpick. It leeches ink and chemicals from the paper along with small pieces of paper getting stuck on the food.

1st visit: They have excellent service. Their fryers are separate for meats and other appetizers which is extremely considerate for their vegetarian crowd 🙏🏼

They also cook their Veggie burgers on separate surface if you mention un-contaminated food 👌🏼

Every single thing I have had at Village burger has been excellent so far.

This time I went with Blue cheese crumbles on patty, VB Sauce and Chipotle sauce. The VB sauce goes so well with the Pickle fries which are drool worthy 😍

Onion fries are just as good. Crispy and light. Everything was Fresh and hot!

Special mentions to the fact that Village Burger is consistent with their service and taste across other locations I have been too ♥️

Wonderful staff with a welcoming atmosphere. Always a lovely experience.

Village burger, where do I even begin. First things first, my first time walking through the gates of heaven, I was greeted so kindly by the staff. I then walked over to the counter where the extremely polite and helpful beautiful young man named McClane assisted me in ordering my meal. As soon as he could, he handed me my cup for a drink. The soda dispenser offered so many succulent options, which was perfect after I biked 5 miles to this oasis. Very shortly after I took a seat at the bar (which was very tidy, spacious, and had televisions displaying football). The food came out, and I don’t know if Gorden Ramsey was in the back, but the food was an absolute masterpiece. The wings, so messy but so fresh and savory. The burger, so tasty. Finally the fries, seasoned to perfection, perfectly accommodated with the iconic “Village Burger Sauce” and ranch were delicious. After devouring this delicacy, I made sure to display my gratitude for the food and service by leaving a $12 tip, the staff was extremely grateful. To express their gratitude, McClane offered me a free ice cream combined with any additives I’d wish. I ultimately decided I wanted cookie dough, Oreo, and Reese’s. They were perfectly blended together, my tastebuds being blessed like an African Rhino that has gotten rain for the first time in months. A blessing. After all I was honored to be in the presence of such a talented team. I left satiated and eager for...

We tried Village Burger tonight because they were offering a percentage of the proceeds to an elementary school. When we walked in the place was clean, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We had never been there before, but the young gentleman at the counter, walked us through the menu And was so sweet. Our food came out extremely fast, Which, if you have small children, you could probably appreciate just like I do. It was simple, delicious, and fairly priced. We were checked on during our meal to make sure everything was to standard. At the end, we went up to get ice cream to go. Unfortunately, my infant had knocked over a glass of water, and I felt terribly for the mess, but the staff was so gracious and did not mind at all. I really really enjoyed the experience because it felt like a family friendly environment, extremely accommodating, clean, and the stuff was so kind and sweet!! I can’t...

The food was great, but the service was disappointing due to a lack of professionalism. The young staff seemed more interested in gossiping with their friends, eating hot Takis made in the kitchen, and using their phones and computers at the bar than focusing on the guest experience. The off-duty employees were a significant distraction, hanging around and adding to the chaos instead of maintaining a professional atmosphere. We even had to wait for one employee to finish his ice cream before making our milkshakes, while another was glued to her phone. Proper supervision and a stronger focus on customer service are desperately needed to improve the experience.
