You know I wanted to give it a 5 but I cannot. There is alot of work that needs done to it. It's like the magic isn't there anymore like it was 18 years ago. I mean back then there were people that hung out and we just chilled, hacky sack, bongos, guitar, (sounds hippie but it was just chill) and some of us would go out onto the trail that lead to the rock that overlooked the river road and just sit. Like it just had its own magic. Now, a few weeks back my daughters friend had a situation they needed to find her brother, he said he was there. I said, I know EXACTLY where he is. He said, "how did you know where I was"? I told him "this rock was where I came to do many things, it did alot for me years ago". "I found myself and list myself alot there". Lol. But it was magic and now it's slowly going...

I came here today to check out a new park with my friend along the way to the state park, and I found this quaint city park with a great view of the Mississippi River overlooking St. Charles, MO. I played catch and fetch with my dog, and he got to run around the upper part of the park off-leash. (I recommend not doing the off-leash with your dog if they are not trained for recalls). I sat at the bench overlooking the river for 30-40 minutes, enjoying the view and the weather perfect for the park. This park will be one of my go-to whenever I...

One or favorite places to walk the dogs. The park has a sweeping view of the Mississippi River and is also surrounded by a charming neighborhood filled with examples of different architectural periods. There are grand homes next to charming cottages, and even a few 1960s style brick ranch houses. The restrooms were locked (early March); I don't know when...

What a beautiful place of peace high above the Mississippi RiverBend! Amazing panoramic view for miles. One of my very favorite sunset spots. The perfect place to launch Chinese Lanterns also. Gotta check it out if you've never been there.

It's a solid go to Sunset viewing spot. With a beautiful sweeping Vista over the river and valley below. They just put up this horrendous chain link fence to keep you away from the viewing edge. Kind of kills the magic of the place.
