Jacoby Arts Center — Attraction in Alton

I am in support of all things local, and I am very excited that my birth/hometown is growing places such as Jacoby. I was, however, supposed to teach a class for Jacoby, but they were very disorganized and did not promote my class (they lost my materials and did not contact me until last of minute). Without promotion, classes will not run; without organization, businesses cannot operate. All in all, I truly hope Jacoby pulls their resources together and flourishes—I wish them the very best and look forward to their improved...

I attended the Black History Presentations and Art Displays Friday, March 5, 2021. The Black History Virtual Presentations was approximately an hour.
