Recycled Entertainment — Attraction in Amarillo

What probably makes Recycled Entertainment the best game/hobby shop in town is the dedication to finding what you need with knowledgeable employees to provide as much insight as they can to your questions. Whether it’s board games, trading card games or electronic entertainment, RE provides all.

They accept rare cards and items of different types in exchange for store credit and have the greatest variety of cards as well as games and hobby related items I’ve come across in Amarillo. They have racks filled with video games from number of consoles both present and past and accept those for trade in as well. At the front of the shop was one of the diamonds that caught my eye: a functional, sturdy Dance Dance Revolution arcade game stocked with songs! To those who don’t know, this is rare enough.

Perhaps it’s greatest treasure isn’t in its inventory but the community itself. It’s RPG and card gaming players are friendly and helpful at the very least. You’re welcomed and greeted when you come in and where I met several players for different games.

The only reason why I can’t give this a five star is because of the lack of an official Dungeons and Dragons Adventurers league game. Even in this respect, several players have stepped up to meet this metaphorical gap in order to close it. Even then, it would still be nice to have official games. Besides this fact, the other games (Magic The Gathering for example) are usually always official.

From Atari to ps4 this is your one stop shop for games and accessories. Skip Gamestop next time you're looking for anything used or looking to trade in your unused games and accessories. You'll definitely find the better deal at Recycled. If they don't have it they can get it. They have a console arcade set up in the back. Whether you want to test out a system or a game before you buy it or you just want to sit back and play something or set up a tournament with a group of friends, it's all possible at recycled. They also carry anything and everything Magic the Gathering. With in house judges and sanctioned tournaments every week, this is your Amarillo hub for MtG. Friday night is always hopping with Friday Night Magic. These guys know it all and have it all. They boast a selection of single cards that would make Wizards jealous. Dropped my controller off for a quote on a repair. I was told the repair guy was not in and he would be by in the next couple days. A week went by and I called to see what the status was. I was then told that the repair man had not come in that Sunday because he was sick. Another week went by and I once again had to reach out, even going as far as stopping by the store to see what the status was. Again, I just wanted a quote, I did not agree to any repair at this point. After another week, I then had to call multiple times to get someone on the phone just to tell me that "the manager was not in" and that this person did not know the answer to my questions. It has been more than two months and i still have no controller, no quote, and now nobody will answer my phone calls.
