Do not rent a car from this agency - we had reserved a car 4 months ahead of our trip only to receive a call 2 hours before we we were scheduled to pick it up saying it wasn't available. They offered us another car, but it wouldn't have worked based on where we were going. We were left stranded at a hotel with two children and no option other than to scramble to find a new rental at the last minute. We ended up going with a different agency. I understand that things like this happen and it can be out of the agency's control if someone doesn't return a car on time, but the rudeness that I dealt with on the phone was completely uncalled for. The guy tried to compare me being stranded with two kids and having to scramble last minute to him having a bad morning at work. He talked down to me as if I was a child and when I asked if there was anything else they could do or try, he was like well I tried to give you the customer service number, but you didn't want it (meanwhile, all I had said was - are there any other options or things we could try). I was told by him and another agent when I called back that they would keep us updated and we'd be the first people they would call when a car came in, but we never heard from them again. From the outset, the service was appalling, culminating in an encounter with a particularly rude and condescending attendant. Our dispute began over a gallon of gasoline, which, in hindsight, seems trivial but was handled with such disregard and unprofessionalism that it left a lasting impression.
The attendant in question was not only dismissive of our concerns but also resorted to mocking and belittling us when we tried to explain our situation. It was clear from his demeanor and tone that customer service was the least of his priorities. To add insult to injury, this attendant decided to close the shop early, explicitly to avoid further interaction with us. This blatant disregard for customer service and basic decency was shocking. I took the Optima home and soon noticed that one of the tail lights wasn't working, I immediately called the place back and the representative told me to bring back the car and that he would get me on a different car right away.
