A favorite sports park for easy access of workout areas and playing fields! Families and friends can have get togethers at the picnic tables or reserve a group spot for any occasion! I’ve enjoyed the open space here to do speed intervals when the gym is too crowded. It’s also a great place to go for get togethers of groups to play basketball or tennis. Team sports such as baseball can be played on several fields at the same time! Regional tournament competition often takes place here. The park has ok restrooms, equipment room and refreshment stand space. The large parking lot is adequate for most events, tho street parking may be needed with multiple simultaneous activities. I’d consider street parking where permitted on weekday afternoons, when the school next door lets out. Otherwise, getting stuck in the wait for the long line to break up may be unexpected. Those who are in the school pick-up line will often allow space for departing park goers to go around them and leave. Also as a Los Angeles tourguide, I’ve sought out the respite from the urban world here with lots of open space and suburbia. Tho the constant sound of traffic from the California 91 - Riverside Freeway, is a reminder that I’m not out of the woods at the far side of the city. The good thing is that the massive wall makes the noise bearable, while preventing vehicles from flying...

Beautiful, peaceful park with lots of handicapped-accessible parking spaces and walkways. The park includes a basketball court, baseball diamond, large fields for flying kites, and big shady trees for picnics. The barbecue and table area is very nice as well, (although it is roped off/unaccessible temporarily due to the pandemic). Parking is close to the tables so it's easy to unload for parties, picnics, etc.

The park also includes a public restroom and a children's playground area. Lots of dog-walkers are there in the evening, which is nice - although a lot of them are off leash, which can be frustrating.

The park is located between an elementary school and a beautiful, safe, little neighborhood. All in all, it's a great...

Love this park, but it has become an unofficial big dog park at night and early in the morning. Pretty much everyone lets their big dogs run off-leash and if you say something there's definitely a mob-like response from the guilty parties. I have always had big dogs until now so I'm not anti or anything, but it's just irresponsible and I wish the city would respond. Two dogs have come after me and my little mutt. But, it's kept clean and the grass is always green. If you go when there's a sporting event on the dogs off the leash thing isn't...

Sweet park, lots of bluebirds, squirrels and a pandemonium of wild parrots. It's pretty cool. If you happen to be there early a/m, you can see the geese. They eat in the fields and make a mess, but cool to watch land and takeoff. Big park that is very very wide open and yes, some dogs are occasionally off leash, but I have never seen a problem.
