STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! DON’T EVEN BUY A CAR HERE - YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND THEIR “ADVISERS” WON’T TELL YOU WHEN SERVICE/S ARE DUE! I bought 2 cars from this dealership and have been coming to Hardin Honda for my services for years. But over the past year, I have started noticing how hard it was to reach an “adviser” in the Express Service department whenever I called with a question. My call kept getting re-routed back to the front desk secretary in the main showroom lobby - an endless cycle of re-routed calls, after which I would end up hanging up out of frustration! Then two months ago, when my smog certificate was due, I was told by my local smog inspection station that my “torn intake boot” (hose) was cracked; that he sees this “all the time” in Honda’s, and he couldn’t perform a smog test on my 2016 CRV until I replaced this hose. I called Hardin Honda to get a price for the part and labor, then called Weir Canyon Honda to compare pricing, and was stunned to find out their price for the part and labor was HALF the cost of Hardin’s estimate (so I went to Weir Canyon Honda to have the repair done.) The guy at the smog inspection station also tells me I’ve likely been driving with this cracked hose “for about 10,000 miles” (it could be longer than that). Hardin Honda’s Express Service “advisers” NEVER told me about this cracked hose, which was in PLAIN SIGHT! How could their service technicians not see a large crack on a hose in plain sight? At that point, I decided I had had enough of Hardin Honda. I then went to my scheduled oil change service at Weir Canyon Honda, and the gentleman I spoke to gave me a full list of items that were over/due, and told me he went “all the way back” to my services I had at Hardin Honda, but he didn’t see I had ANY OF THEM PERFORMED! Among the items: spark plugs replaced; coolant drain/fill; transmission drain/fill; drive belt replaced, among a few other items. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!?? My mileage is now at 109k, and I’ve NEVER been told by the “advisers” at Hardin Honda that I was due for these services when I arrived! My car did a better job at telling me when I was due than Hardin Honda’s “advisers”. I called and spoke to "Daniel" to ask about this, and he said he didn’t know either, and that at 80,000 miles, the service for one of those items should’ve been done. I then asked to speak to the manager of the Express Service department, and Daniel said he would have a manager call me after 8:30 AM the next day, per my request. Matt, the department’s manager, called me the next day. I explained my extreme frustration(s) to him, and I asked why and how something like this is allowed to happen. I can’t be driving my car with it possibly overheating, not starting, stalling, etc. I have made every service appt when my car tells me one’s due. As I’m talking to Matt, he tells me he’s looking my info up, and sees that Darrin “advised” me that my spark plugs would be due for replacement at 100,000 miles. I asked him what my odometer reading (mileage) was on the work order when Darrin told me that. Matt replies, “82,000 miles”. When I pressed Matt further and asked the date Darrin “advised” me of this, Matt says, “Dec. 20th, 2022”!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!?? I asked Matt why are his “advisers” — the EXPERTS, “advising” me almost 3 years and 18,000 miles AHEAD of the RECOMMENDED DUE DATE for spark plug replacement?? When I arrive to the dealership for my service, I expect to be “advised” at that time what service/s my car is due for. I don’t need to be told 3 years and 18,000 miles in advance! Matt said he understood my complaint and would talk to Darrin (and hopefully to ALL of his “advisers”.) You can “advise” all you want, just don’t “advise” years in advance, for your customer’s sake! Totally pathetic and extremely unprofessional! AGAIN - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY AND SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE! THIS...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of bringing my car to Service Hardin Automotive Center and receiving assistance from Cezar Melena. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of excellent. Cezar's professionalism, friendliness, and honesty truly stood out throughout the entire process.
One of the most impressive aspects of Cezar's service is his honesty. He took the time to thoroughly inspect my car and clearly explained what repairs were needed, as well as what could wait. His transparent approach gave me confidence in his recommendations, knowing that he had my best interests in mind. Unlike some other mechanics I've encountered in the past, Cezar didn't try to upsell unnecessary services or parts. Instead, he focused on addressing the issues at hand efficiently and effectively.
Furthermore, Cezar's friendly demeanor made the entire experience stress-free. He patiently answered all of my questions and ensured that I understood the work being done on my car. His professionalism and genuine care for his customers were evident from the moment I stepped into the shop.
Overall, I highly recommend Cezar Melena at Service Hardin Automotive Center to anyone in need of automotive services. His combination of expertise, honesty, and friendliness sets him apart in the industry. I'll definitely be returning for any future maintenance or repairs, knowing that my vehicle will be in good hands. Thank you, Cezar, for your...
Read moreI came for an oil change and went to the main service area at the dealership and was instructed to go to the "express" service at the used car dealership. There were a line of empty parked cars coming out of the service bays and no one to greet me, no signs with instructions. So I went into the service writer office to get help. I stood there for about 5 minutes and finally one of the service writers tells me to go wait by my car and someone would be with me. No greeting, no telling me that they would help me next, just abrupt and frankly rude. I also waited by my car for 15 minutes after that with no employees in sight. For a $90 oil change I call that BS. The oil change also takes 2 hours. I could've gone to a jiffy lube or one of those actual express oil change companies for the same price and been done in about 20 minutes. What's worse is I even filled out a service questionnaire and was never contacted by anyone to voice my concern.
The Hardin brand should really step it up, very disapointing. I have leased 2 cars with them now and might have to rethink leasing with them...
