I had not been at Sunny Acres Park since I was a child. I was disgusted by the fact that there was over 200 people there for Flag Football and only 2 Porta Potty's! There is restrooms in a building however they were locked. The 2 that were there were filthy dirty and full of human waste almost to the top of the toilet seat! The grass was very long which made it difficult to walk in when it was raining. I was very disappointed. It is not the Sunny Acres that I remember as a child. Anoka Parks and Recreation has to do better for our Community. You have to have more places to go to the bathroom that 2 filthy...
Read moreSuch a beautiful park, very spacious, and the playground is really nice, it's fairly new equipment, lots of different slides and nice little area for toddlers just starting out on the playground. What's weird is this is such a nice park and there's barely ever anyone there. Very dog friendly- lots of room for them to run, there's a small picnic covered picnic area right next to playground with about 4 tables, there's a couple outhouses one each entrance...
